How To Create A QR Code For Your Facebook Review URL?

How To Create A QR Code For Your Facebook Review URL?

That Website Is Me

One of the easiest ways to get reviews on your Facebook Business Page is to set up a simple web address URL. With this web address, people can type it directly into their internet browser or scan a special code called a QR code .

NOTE: The old way of directly linking to the Facebook profile review page for mobile devices throws a 404 error. Using LinkTrak's device targeting URL shortening process, we can create redirecting URL's based on the users device. Meaning if the user is on desktop, the shorten link goes to the review page, while on mobile devices, it just goes to their profile page (and they then select reviews).

If you are not familiar with QR codes, it may be helpful to learn more about them and how they work. They are a convenient way for customers to quickly access a web address by scanning a code with their phone camera. For example, by creating a QR code of your review link, customers can simply scan the code and be taken directly to the review page. This can be especially helpful for business owners, such as cafe owners, who can give out small review cards for satisfied customers to easily leave a review.

Note: Facebook has changed how they process deeplinks - please read up before creating a deeplink.

Get Your Facebook Business Review Link QR Code

  • Go to your Facebook Business Page on your computer.
  • Locate the "slug" of your Facebook page. It will look like this: https://www.facebook.com/linktrakme/ Note: The "slug" is the part of the web address between the first two slashes (“/”) after facebook.com.
  • Open a text editor program, such as Microsoft Word or Notepad.
  • Desktop: https://www.facebook.com/ PAGE-SLUG /reviews/
  • Mobile: https://m.facebook.com/ PAGE-SLUG /
  • Desktop: https://www.facebook.com/ linktrakme /reviews/

  • Visit your LinkTrak Account Dashboard and find the box where it says "Paste your long URL".
  • Enter your Facebook Desktop URL where it says "Paste your long URL".

  • For each drop-down, select iPhone , iPad , Android , Blackberry and Other mobile.
  • Paste into each URL field your Facebook Mobile URL.
  • Scroll back up and click "Shorten".
  • A popup will appear with your shortened link to copy, and your QR Code.

How to get facebook reviews for your business [5 ways].

In this blog post we are covering 5 easy ways on how you can get more Facebook reviews effortlessly.

Epic guide to Facebook Reviews

Where is the place where you turn to when deciding what will be your next dinner or trip destination? Reviews, of course!

And you are not the only one –  57% of consumers  say that social media influences their shopping. And 44% of them said that Facebook was the social network that influenced their decisions the most.

The rule of thumb is: The more positive reviews you have, the higher the chances they will visit or buy from you.

Just having a presence on social media is not enough anymore. It would be best if you started yielding results from it.

And what’s a better way to do that than Facebook Reviews?

Along with Google Reviews, Facebook Reviews are one of the most efficient digital versions of word-of-mouth marketing and have the potential to influence your future customers buying decisions that will visit your Facebook business page.

You are probably already familiar with  online reviews’ power  and what they can bring you from a business perspective, so I will skip to the fun part – how to get Facebook reviews for your business.

Here is a list of 5 easy ways on how you can get more Facebook reviews effortlessly:

  • Ask your customers via chat or email
  • Add ‘‘Leave us a Review’ buttons on your website
  • Ask for Facebook reviews offline
  • Respond to every review
  • Promote customers feedback on social media and Facebook Ads

How to Find Your Facebook Review Link

First things first.

Before we dive into the methods on how to ask customers for Facebook recommendations and reviews, please make sure you actually know where is your Facebook Reviews section and how to get the link so you can drive customers to that page.

To find your Facebook reviews page link, go to your ‘Reviews tab’ and copy the URL.

For EmbedSocial, it will be this one: https://www.facebook.com/EmbedSocial/reviews/

We encourage you to go with the 2nd option, so below, we are listing some simple ways to collect more Facebook reviews for your business.

Pro tip:  To make the reviews link more appealing, you can always use a  custom link shortener  to provide you with the essential info on the link activity. For more detailed insights and to track from where users are coming to your review link, check out  Google’s Campaign URL builder .

Okay, now let’s see how we can use this link to navigate customers to write their reviews.

1. Ask your customers via email or chat

What is the easiest way that to ask your current customers you already have a relationship with to leave you a review?

Here are 2 ways how to do this:

Chat communication is growing during the pandemic and has become one of the main channels for direct interaction with customers.

Therefore, a perfect way to collect customer feedback !

Companies need to implement procedures in their Customer support departments where every employee at a certain point of interaction will ask their customers for feedback.

And for companies wanting to increase their Facebook reviews, the best way is to ask customers to post their reviews publicly with a direct link to your Facebook Page’s reviews section.

Another option to ask for reviews is to send request emails to your customer list.

“Hey, let us know what you think – Leave us a review here’’

and add a direct link to your Facebook reviews option.

Our email review request message looks like this:

request email for reviews

And if a client doesn’t leave you a review, don’t be shy to do a follow-up.

Send something like:

‘’Hey, did you ever get a chance to write a review for us?’’

Just make sure you are not pushy cause you will never get the desired review.

Pro tip:  It’s all about timing, and Facebook reviews are no exception. Thus, the optimal time to contact a new customer is 3 to 5 days after purchase. Ensure they are happy with the product or service, thank them for choosing you, and then ask for a review.

2. Add ‘‘Leave us a Review’ Buttons and Facebook Badges on Your Website

Another way of ‘it never hurts to ask’ is by adding CTA buttons like ‘ Leave us a Review ’ on your website to direct users to your Facebook reviews page.

The easiest way to start collecting customer feedback on your website is with the  EmbedReviews platform .

You have the option to display a Facebook review widget or add a ‘ Leave a review ’ button anywhere on your website.

Here is how our ‘Leave a Review’ button and Facebook widget look in action:

Once your web visitors click on the review button, they will be redirected to your Facebook Reviews tab where they can submit their feedback.

Embed Facebook reviews badge

As for the badges in the EmbedReviews button, you can choose from the available designs and again use an embeddable code to display on your website.

facebook rating badges

Note that the badge will update every time you have a new Facebook review.

3. Ask for Facebook Reviews Offline

When it comes to offline engagement with your customers, you will also need to think of placements how to make sure you encourage and collect their feedback.

Here are some ways how you can do this:

Print QR codes on receipts, flyers, menus, posters, and similar

QR codes can help you bridge the offline and online worlds and give customers an easy way to submit Facebook reviews.

You will only need to generate a QR code that will include the Facebook link to your Facebook Page’s reviews section.

Big posters with your customer reviews is a definitely great idea, showing your social proof offline and also inspiring people to do the same and get their name on your business location walls.

Ask customers to check in on Facebook

Encourage customers to check in on your location with their Facebook profiles.

If you are a local business owner of a place, provide a stable Wi-Fi network and ask people to check in there, and Facebook will send them a reminder to write a review 1-2 days later.

You will be surprised how many of them will land you a hand.

PRO tip:   Most of these offline encouragements usually include some incentives, such as discounts or free staff, that can improve the response rate of your offline customers. So, think about how you can incentivize them to give you feedback on Facebook.

4. Respond to Facebook Reviews (even the negative ones)

Take time to respond to every review! Users will surely notice your interaction and how you value customers’ feedback and award you with leaving a review.  Respond even to star ratings without comments, no matter if it is 5-star reviews or less.

To tackle your review responses more effectively, you try an  Autoresponder for Facebook reviews  that can automate your reply. This way, you will never forget to reply to a review and show your customers that you value their time and effort.

Responding to all reviews includes responding to the negative ones, too, right?

What to do when you encounter a negative review? How should you deal with it to not hurt the customer’s feelings and your business, too?

Don’t dare to delete negative reviews (unless they violate  Facebook Community standards ).

It will hurt your reputation, and it will show that you lack transparency. Instead, use them to your advantage – apologize for the bad experience and offer a solution.

Yes, potential customers will notice the negative review, but they will also see that you have handled the situation and will respect you more.

Guess what – negative customer feedback can do more good than harm. Despite improving your online reputation management , they can help business owners see the bigger picture and improve their digital marketing strategy based on that.

If you ignore negative reviews and they proceed to come up, you will probably run out of business sooner or later.

So, take a deep breath and follow these action steps below:

  • First, you should try to understand why the customer is leaving a negative review. Why are they not happy with your product or service? What is the trigger?
  • Reply to the negative feedback ASAP. Thank the customer for leaving a review. Try to understand the reason behind the testimonial (make sure you don’t go into defense mode). And if it is your fault, acknowledge it and do something about it – at least suggest replacing the products or refunding the customer.

Please note that whatever your response is, it will be seen by other visitors. This is the perfect way to show how you care about your consumers (and, as a result, get more sales and even more reviews).

We created a detailed  guide on the best practices for responding to negative reviews . Suggested responses are included, too.

5. Promote customers’ Feedback on Social Media and Facebook Ads

Business reviews are the best user-generated content , so make sure you aggressively promote them across every social media platform you have. This will unconsciously inspire other customers to leave their feedback, too.

With a simple share among your community, your customer reviews will attract new customers who will be encouraged to share the same

Frequently asked questions.

Facebook QR code

Once they scan the code, your target audience can directly access your Facebook business page, making it one of the most useful tools to take advantage of Facebook’s marketing and advertising tactics, especially if you want to grow your Facebook business page.

On the other hand, if you want to integrate all your social media profiles, including Facebook, into one QR code, a social media QR code is the solution for you.

With all the social media apps invented daily by innovators and developers, did you know that Facebook is still the most popular channel worldwide?

Statista reports show that Facebook remains the most used social media network, ranked by the number of monthly active users, with  more than 3 billion users every month .

That is why it’s no longer surprising that every business, whether small, medium, or large enterprise, is trying hard to have active customer engagement on its page.

That said, a tech tool using a QR code generator for Facebook is now a way to achieve this!

How do I get my Facebook QR code?

You can create a custom QR code for your Facebook account or page using a free generator online.

QR TIGER Facebook QR code generator  is an ideal option for beginners. You can also choose to generate your Facebook code in static or dynamic form.

Check the guide below to learn how you can make one the easiest way.

Connecting your target audience on social media, especially Facebook, is now easier with QR codes.

Use a dependable QR code software and follow these easy steps:

  • Open a  QR code generator with logo online.
  • Click Facebook QR  solution and enter the link or information.
  • Choose Static QR or Dynamic QR .
  • Click Generate QR code .
  • Customize your QR code and add a logo. You can change the colors, frames, eyes, and patterns, too.
  • Test your custom Facebook page QR code by scanning it.
  • Click Download . You can now share or deploy it on your marketing campaign!

Two types of QR codes for your Facebook: Static and dynamic

Facebook QR code types

How is a static QR code different from a dynamic QR code?  Here are the features of these two QR code types:

  • free to create as many as you want
  • no need for subscriptions
  • have unlimited scans of the QR code
  • free to customize
  • and will never expire!
  • not trackable and editable
  • it doesn’t open the app; instead, it opens the browser

If you generate your QR code in static form, you cannot edit its data and cannot track the scan data.

This means that if you want to replace the URL with another one for a Facebook page you want to drive traffic to, you have to create a new one and reprint your materials instead.

Also, it doesn’t open and recognizes the Facebook app. Instead, it opens to the browser.

However, if you’re a serious marketer, you need to track the improvement of your QR code scans. Tracking is for every business owner and marketer, allowing you to analyze your target market and get valuable insights!

If you want to track your QR scan data, use a Facebook QR generator to create a more advanced type of QR code—dynamic QR.

  • Needs an active subscription
  • ability to track the data of your QR code scans
  • You can edit your Facebook URL to any other URL
  • saves you money from regenerating and reprinting a QR code
  • Opens the Facebook app if installed on your mobile

These features make dynamic QR codes a better choice as you can maximize your Facebook QR campaign, redirect the stored URL to a different URL, and track your QR scans, which QR TIGER can provide.

Why Facebook page QR code in Dynamic form is better

An FB QR code in dynamic form allows you to track your QR code scans, such as the number of scans, the location of your scanners, when you get the most scans, and the device used by your audience.

Tracking is vital as it gives you valuable insight into your audience’s profile and helps you better understand where you currently stand in your marketing campaign.

  • Are you getting enough traction in your QR code marketing campaign?
  • What improvement should you do more?
  • Are you getting enough sales and growth?

Editable facebook QR code

If you run a business FB page, generating a dynamic QR code is one way to increase your Facebook likes and followers in no time.

Moreover, using a dynamic QR code for an FB page can save you money in the long run because you don’t need to re-print your QR code for the page if you change its URL.

Just head over to the QR code generator dashboard and update your URL! You can even do this in real time.

Ways to use a QR code for Facebook today and grow your brand recognition

Here's how you can boost your Facebook business page and grow your brand using QR codes:

An FB QR code that directs to the ‘like’ button of your Facebook business page

facebook review qr code

While there may be an option to invite your friends to hit the “like” button of your business page, there is no way you can do this offline. Now, this is where the QR code comes into the picture of taking your adverts offline to online!

You can print out QR codes on leaflets, magazines, brochures, or along with your product tags that will invite your users to click the “like” button on your page after they scan the QR code.

Moreover, you can also make a bulk QR code for your Facebook URLs.

Create a QR code for the Facebook page to promote events easily

Facebook event QR code

Any successful event campaign on Facebook has a common denominator: a Facebook event page.

Sparking the interest of your audience online is influential in making your event successful.

You can generate your QR code for your Facebook page and use it for your offline and online event campaigns, where people can indicate their interest in participating in the event or not.

Enhance social media presence using a social media QR code for Facebook

facebook review qr code

Unlike a Facebook QR that only shows a Facebook link when you scan it, a social media QR code connects all your social media pages in one scan.

For most small, medium, and large enterprises, having a huge number of followers on social media means spending less on advertising.

When users engage with your posts on social media, particularly on Facebook, their circle of friends and families on FB will get notified as well!

This creates a domino effect that can grow your website’s traffic.

Use a Facebook page QR code

facebook review qr code

According to Bright Local , a whopping 97% of customers read online reviews before purchasing an item or trying out business services.

Moreover, 91% of 18- to 34-year-olds trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations and 86% of customers read reviews for local businesses.

Use your QR code for Facebook page to drive your audience to your Facebook review page; you can also invite them to hit the “like” button, and they can also check out your Facebook company profile!

Promote your restaurants, bars, and other business establishments

Restaurant facebook QR code

You can even do it with any of your business establishments.

You can also use interactive restaurant menu QR code software for your restaurant to create an online presence for the restaurant through a custom-built website.

For increased consumer involvement, the restaurant website can be linked to the restaurant’s Facebook page.

Bonus: A QR code for the Facebook group and Facebook account

Not only can you direct a Facebook QR to your account or page, but you can also instantly share your Facebook group with other users using a Facebook QR.

The platform actually has a QR code feature accessible only to group admins . If you're an admin of a Facebook group, you can also only get the QR code when using a computer. Anyone scanning the QR code can see the About page and a request to join button.

When using the group for community engagement and marketing purposes, a custom dynamic Facebook QR code is more advantageous.

Not only can you promote your group out there, but you can also track real-time scan data, which translates to genuine interactions with your QR code.

Also, dynamic QR codes have a retargeting feature, providing you with the tool to reach out to previous visitors to your Facebook group or page by displaying ads related to your brand. Depending on the QR code platform, you can use Facebook Pixel and Google Tag Manager.

With community engagement being one of the most powerful tools for businesses to build stronger relationships with customers and earn their trust and loyalty, fostering this strategy through QR codes is the smartest move you can take.

How to create a trackable QR code for a Facebook page: A step-by-step guide

We will guide you every step of the way in creating an effective QR code so you can make the most out of it and boost your presence on Facebook. Here's how to make a trackable QR code with just a few steps:

Step 1. Open QR TIGER QR code generator online

facebook review qr code

You can also use the social media QR code solution that will display all your social media handles in one optimized landing page when scanned.

Step 2. Choose “dynamic”

facebook review qr code

Step 3. Click “Generate QR code”

facebook review qr code

Step 4. Customize your QR code

facebook review qr code

A black-and-white QR code is much less interesting than one that is made just for you.

The first impression matters, and it will pull your customers’ attention.

Add your logo and a frame with a call to action, and use your color scheme for a branded QR code.

Step 5. Always test your QR code before printing or distributing it

Before deploying your Facebook QR to your marketing material, always ensure that you entered the correct Facebook link and do a QR code test scan. How to access Facebook QR data? Simply scan the code using your smartphone camera or third-party scanner.

Nevertheless, if you have already printed your QR code, you don’t need to worry if you’ve typed the wrong URL because you can edit it using a Dynamic QR code.

Step 7. Download your Facebook QR and deploy it on your marketing campaign

You can download your Facebook QR  in PNG or SVG format! Both are great to use in print or online advertisements, but if you plan to scale your QR code to any size without affecting the quality, use the SVG format.

Use QR codes for free or in advance to promote your Facebook profile or business page, maximize your social engagement, and drive users straight to your inbox.

Moreover, the QR code is convenient as it can be quickly scanned using smartphone devices.

In just one scan, they’ll instantly land on your page without needing to go to your homepage and type your business profile.

Why is my Facebook QR code not working?

A QR code not working or failing to scan can be due to some underlying factors. Here are the 10 possible reasons:

  • The foreground color should be darker than the background (Do not make an inverted QR code color)
  • Not having enough contrast in the QR code’s color
  • The QR code is blurry
  • The QR code is pixelated
  • The sizing is not right
  • The placement is not correct
  • The URL is wrong
  • The QR code is expired
  • The QR code is over-customized
  • Broken link

After you’ve checked that your Facebook profile is up-to-date, it’s time to make sure you’ve responded to each and every comment, mention, review and message on Facebook messenger.

This is important, because Facebook boasts a massive user base, making it a valuable platform for businesses to connect with their target audience.

Positive online reviews not only boost your brand’s credibility but also attract new customers. Moreover, Facebook reviews contribute to higher search engine visibility, helping your business rank higher in search results.

When you communicate with your existing customer base and potential customers, you’re actually doing online reputation management while being helpful.

Trust me, this is all great social proof, when prospective customers see how you interact with current customers.

Create Review Links – Manually

  • Log in to your Facebook account (https://www.facebook.com/) and navigate to your business page.
  • In the browser’s address bar, you’ll find your Facebook page’s URL. If it includes a series of numbers, you need to set a username or vanity URL for your page. To do this, go to the “About” section of your page, click on “Edit Page Info,” then click on “Create Page @Username.” Follow the instructions to set a username that reflects your business name.
  • Once you have your username, add “/reviews/” to the end of it. This will create your Facebook review link.
  • Share Your Customized Review Link

No matter which way you use, the actual link will look something like this:

https://www.facebook.com/trustmaryfinland/reviews

You can now share your customized review link on your website, social media profiles, email signatures , or any other medium that allows direct access to your Facebook page.

Optimizing Your Facebook Review Link for Maximum Visibility

To optimize your Facebook review link for the keyword “Facebook review link,” consider the following strategies:

Incorporate the Keyword in Anchor Text

Whenever you refer to your Facebook review link, use the anchor text “Facebook review link” instead of simply writing the URL. This signals search engines that your link is relevant to this keyword.

Share the Link on Relevant Platforms

Promote your Facebook review link on platforms such as your website, blog, and social media profiles to increase its exposure.

The same practices also applie to your Google review link .

It’s best to give your customers the option to rate you on the service they wish to do so.

For instance, I don’t like to review most companies with my public gmail address. I like to stay more anonymous OR even use my Facebook account.

Know your customer segment!

Encourage Customers to Leave Reviews

Actively ask your satisfied customers to share their experiences on your Facebook page. Consider offering incentives or rewards to motivate them further.

Respond to Reviews

Engaging with customers who leave reviews shows that you value their feedback.

Always respond to reviews promptly, positively, and professionally to strengthen your brand’s reputation.

Monitoring and Managing Facebook Reviews

It’s crucial to actively monitor and manage your Facebook reviews. Here are a few key steps:

1. Enable Review Notifications

Configure your Facebook settings to receive notifications whenever someone leaves a review. This ensures you can respond promptly and appropriately.

2. Regularly Check and Respond to Reviews

Dedicate time to regularly checking and responding to both positive and negative reviews. Show appreciation for positive feedback and address negative reviews with empathy and a willingness to resolve any issues.

3. Flag Inappropriate Reviews

If you come across any reviews that violate Facebook’s community standards, you have the option to flag them. Facebook will then review the reported content and take action if necessary.

3 Steps To Creating A Facebook Review Link

To get reviews on Facebook , you need to make sure your customers know where to write a review by sending them a review link.

It’s easy enough to get your Facebook review link. Just open your Facebook Business page in a desktop browser, click on the “Reviews” tab, and copy the URL.

The problem with this, however, is that this review link won’t prompt customers to log in. This means an extra action some customers will have to complete, which can, believe it or not, discourage them.

The key is to make the review process as quick and easy as possible for your customers. This, in turn, will increase the likelihood of them posting a review.

You can do this by creating a Facebook review link with a login prompt . It’s not as hard as it sounds, as we break it down in just three steps.

Why It’s Important To Get Reviews For Your Business

Facebook reviews (Facebook Recommendations) have more benefits than most business owners realize.

And knowing these benefits is important as it will help you understand how Facebook reviews work and, as a result, how you can use them to your advantage.

Facebook reviews are social proof . And with more first-hand endorsements of your products and services, more customers will trust your business.

As it turns out, 88% of customers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

So it’s about building a reputation (through positive reviews and a high star rating) that customers can trust. This will increase your search visibility as well as increase the chance Facebook recommends your business in users’ Feeds.

What’s also worth knowing is that Facebook reviews can appear in search engine results. And if your reviews are positive, this will draw more traffic to your Facebook page.

How To Create A Facebook Review Link: 3 Steps

To get more reviews on Facebook, it’s vital to make writing reviews as easy as possible for customers. In other words: reducing the steps it takes for customers to write a review.

This is why creating your own Facebook review link (with a login prompt) is better than simply using the URL of your Facebook Business review page, as the latter will require some customers to log in first.

There are three steps to creating a Facebook review link:

  • Create a Facebook login URL
  • Modify the URL to redirect customers after login
  • Add your business name to the URL

It sounds technical, but it’s not. You’ll see as we explain each step below.

Step 1: Create A Facebook Login URL

Customers can’t post a Facebook review for your business without logging in to Facebook first.

Most Facebook users will know how to log in if needed, but, again, we’re trying to make it as easy as possible by assisting customers through the process.

All this step requires is adding “/login” to the end of the Facebook homepage URL, so that it looks like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/.

Step 2: Modify The URL To Redirect Customers After Login

After the customer logs in, you want to make sure that the customer is taken to your Facebook Business page – not to the Facebook News Feed.

This ensures the customer won’t have to search for your business or enter your Facebook URL a second time.

To do this, add “?next=” to the end of the Facebook login URL made in step 1, so that it looks like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=.

Step 3: Add Your Business Name To The URL

The final step is to add “https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fyourbusiness%2Freviews%2F” to the URL made in step 2.

However, you’ll need to replace “yourbusiness” with your business name as it reads in the URL of your Facebook page.

Once you have made the change and added it to the URL made in step 2, the final URL—your Facebook review link—should look like this (except with your business name): https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness/reviews/.

How To Request A Review On Facebook

3 Steps to Creating a Facebook Review Link (1)

Creating your Facebook review link is only half the work, unfortunately. You’ll need to send the review link to customers, needless to say, but you’ll also need to use best practices for your review request to be effective.

This involves two things:

  • Sending your Facebook review requests using the appropriate channels
  • Including a message that encourages the customer to click the link to write a review

The key to creating an effective review request message is to be direct yet friendly while expressing why their feedback is valued.

You can send your review requests using email, SMS, and Facebook messages, but, in general, email is more recommended. Customer emails are easier to collect than phone numbers, and emails are less personal than Facebook messages.

How To Enable Facebook Reviews

It’s no good to send Facebook review request links to your customers if your reviews aren’t turned on. While Facebook reviews are enabled by default, it’s worth checking to make sure!

Thankfully, enabling Facebook reviews takes just five simple steps:

  • Log in to your Facebook Business page
  • Click on “Settings” (located at the top right-hand corner)
  • Click on “Templates and Tabs” (located in the left-hand sidebar)
  • Scroll down to “Show Reviews” (in the “Reviews” section) and click the toggle “On”
  • Click “Save” to confirm the change

Remember: Facebook reviews are enabled by default. So if you find that your Facebook reviews are enabled (the toggle will be green/“On”), make sure not to change the setting.

How To Increase Engagement On Facebook

Your customer reviews are the most important factor determining your business’s reputation on Facebook.

How you interact with customers on Facebook is also important, however, with the potential to increase page traffic and encourage sales.

There are countless ways to engage and interact with your Facebook audience. But to help you out, we’ve listed three key strategies below.

Share User-Generated Content

User-generated content that promotes your business is essentially free marketing. And like customer reviews, it’s more social proof that you can leverage to build your reputation and increase audience engagement on Facebook.

This includes any kind of Facebook content a customer has posted that endorses your products or services. You’ll get notified when it happens, as a Facebook user will tag your business, check-in to your location, or include a hashtag of your business name.

It’s a great way to showcase more positive feedback on your Facebook Business page that followers and new page visitors will see.

Reply To Facebook Reviews

Did you know that 56% of consumers say that the way businesses respond to reviews matters ? This makes it important to respond to Facebook reviews as it can influence customers to trust and use your business.

Most businesses do not respond to reviews. This provides a chance for your business to stand out, however, so it’s worth responding to as many of your Facebook reviews as you can – even the positive reviews.

There are best practices for responding to reviews, and these include responding punctually, professionally, and transparently.

Your responses should always be appreciative, as this will demonstrate that your business cares for its customers and values their feedback – good or bad.

Share Google Reviews On Facebook

Sharing Google reviews on Facebook is more social proof you can use to back up what your positive Facebook reviews are saying.

The good thing about this is that it’s easy to do and provides more engaging content for your Facebook page that users can interact with.

Using Google’s free Marketing Kit , sharing your positive Google reviews on Facebook is as simple as it gets. You can even customize the review as it will appear in your post (such as themes and fonts), which will make the content more visually appealing.

All you need to share Google reviews using Google’s Marketing Kit is a verified Google Business Profile. Google Business Marketing Kit also gives you the ability to create other marketing materials, so it’s a free tool that’s well worth using.

How To Get More Reviews (On All Review Sites)

It isn’t difficult to create a Facebook review link, but there is an easier and more effective way to get reviews for your business – not just on Facebook, but on Google, Yelp , and more.

Having a review link is only half the work, as mentioned. You need to write a persuasive review request to get your customers to click the review link, which you’ll also have to send to all new customers your business deals with.

The easier and more effective method is to automate the process . And it’s the reason why thousands of businesses use ReputationStacker – a tool that will automatically send review requests to your customers using a proven approach to get more reviews.

Ultimately, it’s not necessary to create review links or even put time and effort into a long-term review marketing strategy – not when ReputationStacker will handle all of it for you.

How to Get Reviews on Facebook: 6 Proven Strategies & Tips

facebook review qr code

As of the first fiscal quarter of 2022, it was estimated that Facebook had 2.93 billion users across the globe. That mind-numbing statistic represents nearly 1/3rd of the global population. The simple truth is that social media is no longer a luxury – it's a commonly used communication platform that helps people interact, engage, and formulate opinions. This is a significant reason why many corporations spend resources and time learning how to get reviews on Facebook.

Like Amazon or Google, having happy customers share their purchase experience with friends, followers, or other visitors to your Facebook profile is today's version of word-of-mouth advertising. While it's easy for any product manufacturer or service provider to ask customers to review us on Facebook, it is a constant struggle to learn how to ask for reviews on Facebook.

If you're looking to increase your Facebook page reviews or learn how to request reviews on Facebook, this article will provide you with a clear roadmap. We'll explain why you need Facebook page reviews for your growing business in the information below. In the information below, we’ll also teach you how to see reviews on a Facebook business page.

We'll also provide six proven strategies for increasing your service or product reviews. We'll introduce you to a revolutionary automated software solution that will help you accomplish all these objectives with reduced overhead, expense, and exceptional success.

Let's get started.

Why Do You Need Facebook Page Reviews for Your Business?

facebook review qr code

Today's consumers make their buying decisions via multiple sources of information. Some prefer direct feedback from previous customers, while others will complete their research to formulate opinions. However, one thing all shoppers have in common is being influenced by public feedback.

Whether you manufacture and sell consumables or provide services, having multiple reviews or testimonials from previous customers is exceptionally helpful for increasing new customer sales. While many marketing managers focus on learning how to get reviews on Facebook business page, it’s crucial to understand why it’s important.

Here are three benefits of having reviews for your business published on Facebook.

Benefit #1 – Improve Consumer Confidence

Social media platforms provide consumers with an open forum to express their opinions. It's estimated that many of the 2.3 billion active social media users formulate their opinions based on information they read online.

When a potential customer reads a positive review about your business published on your Facebook business page, it improves their confidence in the quality of your company. In fact, this is also a great way to improve Facebook page ratings.

Benefit #2 - Provides Practical Word-of-Mouth

Many social media platforms require users to verify their identities before establishing their accounts. Facebook is one of the largest social media networks that has activated these policies as a part of its security protocols. When a former or current customer takes the time to publish a review of your business, other users have confidence knowing that it comes from a verified source.

This is essentially a word-of-mouth testimonial or social proof reviews . It's just as powerful as receiving feedback about the integrity of a business or the quality of the products or services they offer from a family member or friend.

Benefit #3 – Provides Valuable Consumer Feedback to Help Improve Your Business

Not all reviews are going to be exceptional. It's nearly impossible to satisfy every customer who interacts with your business. However, although their Facebook review may not be the most flattering, it does provide the business with valuable consumer-direct feedback to discover areas of improvement.

Suppose a customer leaves a bad review on your Facebook business page. In that case, it allows the company to review, reply directly, and attempt to resolve the issue. If you can satisfy the customer with your actions after the review, it can be more beneficial than a positive review.

How to Get Reviews on Facebook: 6 Proven Strategies

Learning how to encourage reviews on Facebook begins with streamlining and simplifying the process for the user. If you've done a great job at providing value, quality products or services and satisfying your customer, the next step in driving reviews on Facebook is helping your customers with the process.

Each of the six proven strategies for getting more Facebook reviews focuses on this task. Let's explore the best ways to accomplish this objective.

Strategy #1 – Automate the Process

facebook review qr code

The biggest hurdle to activating marketing strategies often breaks down into three elements – time, money, and bandwidth. Software as a Solution or SaaS platforms are designed to eliminate these variables by automating connecting with consumers, vendors, and others. This includes asking for Facebook service reviews from previous customers.

We've developed a platform that allows a business to ask for Facebook product reviews and display those reviews through your marketing channels. Our software can send SMS text messages and/or emails to ask current or former customers to provide their feedback on multiple sales channels – from Google to Facebook. Using automated software is an effective way of learning how to request Facebook reviews with very little effort.

Here are three tips for using this service to help boost your Facebook reviews by using this robust software solution.

Tip #1 – Create and Promote Your Product Review Landing Page

Today's consumers prefer the freedom of choice. If they purchased a product from you from Amazon or directly from their website – you can create a single landing page with direct links to multiple online platforms – including Facebook. Start by creating this page – and then provide direct links to platforms you're looking to improve user feedback. Then use this new automated solution to drive traffic to the landing page.

Tip #2 – Drive Traffic to Your Facebook Business Page

Everybody loves convenience – especially when someone is asking for something that benefits them. You can use ReviewsOnMyWebsite to send automated notifications to customers – with direct links to your business page on Facebook. This makes it simple for the user to leave a written review with one click of a direct link.

Tip #3 – Publish Previous Facebook Reviews on Your Website

Many customers are determined to leave a review by reading others. It provides them with confidence that they are not the only person who feels the same about your business. One easy way to stimulate consumer confidence is to utilize the widgets to publish existing consumer reviews from Facebook on your website. At that point, the customer can click the link to your business page and leave a positive or educational product review directly on Facebook.

If you'd like to learn more about how automated solutions can save you time and money and drive direct customers to Facebook to write positive reviews, click the link provided below.

Strategy #2 – Create Email Templates

facebook review qr code

Email marketing is an exceptional solution that helps improve communication between an established brand and its customers. Several email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp allow you to purchase subscriptions to create email templates, insert relevant content, and automatically schedule email blasts that can drive traffic to specific web pages.

Here are a few tips for using email marketing to stimulate former customers to share their experiences via Facebook.

  • Tip #1:  Send them a direct link to your business Facebook page.
  • Tip #2:  Create a second follow-up or reminder email and schedule it to send a week after the first notification.
  • Tip #3:  Create a final email that thanks to the customers for submitting the Facebook page. You'll likely have to send this one manually after verifying that they've submitted the review.

Strategy #3 – Add Call-To-Action Links or Buttons on Your Website

facebook review qr code

It's estimated that more than 90 percent of consumers need to visit a company's website more than once to be converted to their brand. It's also estimated that more than half of those converted customers will revisit the website for further education, tutorials, or instructional videos. This presents an excellent opportunity to drive traffic to your Facebook page through a call-to-action on educational pages.

Here are a few practical tips to follow.

Tip #1 – Set Up Call to Action Buttons and Place them On Product or Service Pages

Most former customers will visit a product-specific page to learn more about the products or services they purchased from you. Since it's likely, they will revisit this same page after the purchase – feel free to add a call-to-action to ask for a product review with a direct link to your Facebook page.

Tip #2 – Use Your Blog

Another excellent location for call-to-actions is your blog. This is especially beneficial for sending blogs to former or existing customers. Create the call-to-action that is unique to the blog you're creating – again, with direct links to your social network pages.

Tip #3 – Provide a Call-to-Action on Your Home Page

Many customers will visit your home page before navigating to product-specific pages. Consider adding a CTA on a left-hand side bar of your website's homepage.

Strategy #4 – Use SMS / Text and Email Marketing to Stimulate Interaction

facebook review qr code

If you've made a great impression on customers – why not use your influence to have them do some marketing for you. One way of doing this is to create SMS / Text templates and emails to ask users to interact with your Facebook page.

Here are some practical tips:

  • Tip #1:  Ask customers to check in on their personal Facebook page when visiting your business. If you own a brick-and-mortar location, ask your customers to check-in to let their friends know that they're revisiting you.
  • Tip #2:  Ask customers to share blogs or videos. This tip is best to send to customers who have left positive reviews of your business. You can insert these blogs and messaging via SMS/Text notifications or email marketing.

Strategy #5 – Create QR Codes and Post them in Public Areas

facebook review qr code

We've mentioned multiple times in this article the value of simplifying the process of obtaining product reviews for customers. Many customers use their mobile devices for all social media activity. Why not create a QR code with an embedded link to your Facebook business page – with a simple call-to-action requesting a product review?

Here are a few ideas on how to utilize the QR code.

  • Tip #1:  Place the QR code at checkout. Whether you own a physical location with registers or an online store, make it simple for customers by placing the QR code on your Facebook page.
  • Tip #2 – Post the QR code in each blog – on promotional videos and other educational resources.
  • Tip #3:  Send postcards to previous customers thanking them for their business. You can insert the QR code on the postcard to make it easier for them.

Strategy #6 – Ask Users Directly

facebook review qr code

If you operate a smaller business and have a personal interaction with your customers, consider asking them directly. This is arguably the most challenging thing for anyone to do. However, when you manage a small business and have already established that online reputation and relationship, you'll find it easier to ask for product reviews in person.

Three Tips to Successfully Manage Your Facebook Reviews

The best problem for a business owner or manager is managing a plethora of customer reviews. Since Facebook is primarily an interactive experience, managing your reviews through interaction is a crucial step.

Tip #1 – Respond to Each Review Personally & Promptly

Regardless of the positive or negative review type, people respect prompt and professional replies to their feedback. If you're blessed to have a social media manager or manage your pages individually, go to reply to feedback.

Tip #2 – Set Up Automatic Notifications

To ensure that you have a chance to accomplish the first tip above, you'll need to be alerted to new Facebook business reviews. You can set up user notifications that send emails to you when you get a new Facebook review.

Tip #3 – Turn Negative Reviews into a Positive

If the review is negative – see what you can do to resolve the issue – but do so via private messaging or email.

How to Enable Reviews on Your Facebook Page

facebook review qr code

It's straightforward to enable for a business owner. Simply follow these steps.

  • Step 1:  Log into your administrator account and navigate your business home page.
  • Step 2:  Click the Settings button located at the top right-hand corner of your page.
  • Step 3:  Click the Edit Page button.
  • Step 4:  Scroll to the Reviews tab and activate Facebook Business Page reviews by changing the slider from OFF to ON.

How to Ask for Reviews on Facebook

While there are several ways to improve the potential of increasing Facebook business page reviews, sometimes the most obvious solution pops up – simply asking customers for reviews. But this can be challenging for many people. Here are some special tips to make it easier.

  • Ask your happiest customers. We mentioned this one above in Strategy #6. If you have difficulty asking people for feedback, start with people you feel comfortable with and build off that momentum.
  • Offer discounts and incentives. Sometimes offering a promotional code for a customer's next purchase will help you receive more reviews. This makes the 'ask' for Facebook or Google reviews easier as you will be providing a reward for the effort.
  • Share other reviews from happy customers via your website, social media, and email marketing. Listing previous reviews on your website can stimulate others into action.

Key Takeaways on How to Get Facebook Reviews

Like any other social media marketing or sales platform, the key to increasing direct user reviews is to make it easier for the customer. Creating dedicated URL links or QR codes is a great way to begin this process. However, sending automated notifications via email or SMS/Text notifications can save you time and money and increase your potential to obtain positive reviews.

Every digital marketing program depends on customer feedback which is easier when they provide an exceptional customer experience. Consider these simple tips and strategies above as you're learning how to get reviews on Facebook, and you'll increase your odds.

FAQs related to Facebook ratings and reviews

How to turn on reviews on facebook.

Facebook has gone through multiple changes in its user setting procedures – and things change frequently. However, as of the summer of 2022 – turning on reviews on a Facebook business page is a simple four-step process:

  • Log in to your administrator account.
  • Click the settings tab.
  • Click the edit page button.
  • Scroll to the Reviews tab and activate Facebook Business Page reviews by changing the slider from OFF to ON.

What is the difference between a recommendation and a review on Facebook?

Sometimes users can be confused about what they are posting on Facebook. Generally, a customer has two options, writing a review or providing a recommendation. A review allows the user to write a review and assign a star rating. A recommendation does not include the star rating – it simply permits others to 'like' or add comments. However, only people in the poster's network can access recommendations.

How many reviews do you need on Facebook to get a rating?

Unfortunately, Facebook does not provide the exact numbers or reviews required to establish a rating. Multiple sources will influence a page rating on Facebook, including the number of recommendations and reviews shared about a business. While numbers are critical, the first criteria are that the business page must first permit recommendations. Another factor is who has access to the review or recommendation. This is determined by the user posting the review – as they can share it with just their friends or share it publicly.

How to get a star rating on my Facebook page?

The star rating system is enabled in the same way you permit user reviews. Once two customers have provided a star rating during their review, this will establish an average rating. The more star ratings received with a higher ranking will increase the potential of 5-star reviews for the business page.

How to add a Facebook 5-star rating to my Fan Page?

Adding Facebook 5-star ratings to a fan page is easy for a page owner to enable. The first step is to click on your Edit Page button. The next step is to select the Update Page toggle, then click the Category button. After this step, select Local Businesses from the first dropdown menu, then select the appropriate category that describes your business in the second dropdown menu. You've enabled the star ratings on a Fan page after you click the save changes button.

Can I get rid of reviews on my Facebook page?

Unfortunately, no, you can't remove reviews posted by private users on a Facebook business listing. Facebook does permit the user to edit, amend, and even delete their review – but the business page owner or administrator does not have this power. One way to resolve negative online reviews is to resolve the negative customer feedback or conflict with the user. Learn how to delete a Facebook review by requesting for it to be removed, but keep in mind that Facebook makes it very difficult to accomplish this task.

How to turn reviews off my Facebook page?

Turning off reviews for your business's Facebook page is very easy. You'll need to log into your administrator account and click the settings tab. Third, click the edit page button. Finally, scroll to the Reviews tab and activate Facebook Business Page reviews by changing the slider from ON to OFF. At this point, the reviews and recommendations will be deactivated.

How to Leave a Review on Facebook

Before visiting a business, most Facebook users look them up on Facebook to check their reviews. Customer reviews across platforms such as Yelp and Google show what past customers say about a business, offering social proof that you provide a good product or service. This makes managing a positive online presence an essential aspect of running a small or local business in the modern age.

Discover the difference between Facebook reviews and recommendations in this step-by-step guide on how to leave a review on Facebook .

Generate 5-star Facebook reviews for your business automatically

What are facebook reviews vs. recommendations.

Facebook reviews and recommendations allow users to leave reviews on business pages. For years, Facebook used a traditional review system using a five-star review scale and an optional space for a comment supporting the given star rating. In 2018, however, they updated the star rating system to “Recommendations,” which asks users if they recommend a business, yes or no.

Facebook Reviews

Reviews on Facebook used a five-star rating and the option to leave an accompanying comment. Anyone could like and comment on reviews. Existing star ratings and Facebook reviews are still available for social media users to see, and Facebook will continue to display them; however, you can no longer leave a traditional review with a star ranking.

Facebook Recommendations

Recommendations are an updated version of reviews on Facebook. The current “Review” tab does not show five-star ratings. Instead, it tells social media users whether their social network recommends a business.

When users click the “Reviews” tab, Facebook sends them to the “Recommendations” feature, which asks, “Do you recommend (Business name)? ” Users respond yes or no and can add tags, photos, or a written recommendation. Facebook intends for recommendations to be more personal and allows users to see what friends in their network think of local businesses. All you need to know is that, in effect, reviews and recommendations on Facebook are one and the same.

For the purpose of this article, and to avoid confusion, we will refer to reviews and recommendations as “reviews”, as some users might still call recommendations by their former name.

Why Are Reviews on Facebook Important for Businesses?

Facebook reviews play an important role in the success of local businesses. Let’s look deeper into why they matter, with some examples to help along the way:

Enhance Online Presence

Think of reviews on Facebook as your business’s online billboard. More reviews mean more people can find you, just like how a well-lit sign on a popular street attracts passersby. For example, if you run a café and receive glowing reviews, say, for your lattes and friendly staff, people searching for a great coffee spot in town are more likely to discover and choose yours. That’s the kind of thing we are talking about.

Build Trust

Trust is truly a precious commodity—with that being said, positive reviews on Facebook are kind of like trust-building blocks. When someone leaves a heartfelt review praising your products or services, it’s akin to a friend recommending your business. Just as you’d trust a pal’s opinion about whether or not to go see a movie, potential customers trust these reviews to gauge whether or not to do business with you.

Customer Engagement

Customer reviews create an opportunity for direct and meaningful communication. When customers share their thoughts, it’s quite similar to having a conversation. You can respond to their reviews on Facebook, just as you would chat with friends (just a little more professional). This interaction shows your customers that you value their opinions and appreciate their feedback.

Social Proof

On social media, we are often drawn to what everyone else is talking about, and reviews on Facebook provide that extra nudge. When you see a product with lots of positive reviews, it’s like a group of friends giving it the seal of approval. For instance, if you’re looking for a new smartphone and find one with many five-star reviews talking about its great camera and long battery life, you’re more likely to choose that model over another.

Improve SEO

Consider reviews as your website’s hypemen. The more reviews you have, the more prominent Google will find you, and the higher your website will rank in search results. This means more and more people will likely visit your business online.

Valuable Feedback

Reviews on Facebook aren’t just compliments—they’re also a great source of feedback. They provide insights on how you can improve your operations or products. Suppose you own a clothing store, and customers leave reviews asking for a more extensive range of sizes. This feedback helps you make informed decisions to better serve your customers.

Competitive Edge

In a sea of similar businesses, a collection of great reviews is like a beacon guiding customers directly to you. It differentiates your business from others, making potential customers more likely to choose you. With a reputation built on positive reviews, your business can stand out and secure a larger share of the market.

Word-of-Mouth Marketing

Good reviews on Facebook can be the starting point of a chain reaction. One friend reads your reviews, decides to visit, and tells another friend about how great you are. Before you know it, this word-of-mouth marketing multiplies your customer base.

Customer Loyalty

Responding to reviews isn’t just about appreciation—it’s about building relationships. When you thank a customer for a positive review, it’s like inviting them to become a part of your brand’s community. Over time, this engagement fosters loyalty and long-term connections.

Monitor Customer Satisfaction

Think of reviews on Facebook as a barometer for customer happiness. They provide a continuous stream of feedback about how well your business is meeting the needs of your valued customers. You can use this feedback to refine your services and ensure your customers are always satisfied.

For example, if you run a tech support business and consistently receive reviews mentioning fast response times, it reassures potential customers that they can count on your quick assistance.

In a nutshell, Facebook reviews serve as advocates for your business. They not only enhance your online visibility but also provide valuable feedback and set you apart from competitors. Take steps to improve and nurture your online presence, and it will pay you back tenfold.

  • Click “Yes” or “No” when prompted at the bottom of the page under “Do you recommend (Business name)?”

How Do I Respond to Facebook Reviews?

Respond to all reviews on Facebook to show customers you appreciate their feedback. When responding to positive reviews, you can simply like the review or write a quick reply, personalizing it to their name and getting specific when thanking them for their feedback.

  • To respond to recommendations and reviews on your business Facebook account, you need to first log in to your account.
  • Once you are logged in, navigate to the “Reviews” section of your page. Here, you will be able to see all the recommendations and reviews left by your customers.
  • To respond to a particular review, simply click on it. You will now be able to see the details of the review, including any comments left by other users.

  • Once you are done, click “Post” to publish the comment.

It’s important to respond to reviews in a timely and professional manner to show your customers that you value their feedback and care about their opinions.

It’s a good idea to respond to negative reviews to show customers you care about their experience. When responding to a negative review, customize your response to the reviewer. Acknowledge their feedback, give them your business phone number or email address, and offer to work toward a solution outside of the reviews page.

A customer might edit their initial negative review or leave a second review explaining how you handled the situation. Potential customers might see your effort, and a negative review could benefit your business.

Are Reviews on Facebook Public?

Yes, Facebook reviews are public on a business page’s “Reviews” tab for anyone to see. They cannot be made private.

Can I Delete or Edit My Facebook Reviews?

Only review authors can delete their r eviews on Facebook . Business owners cannot delete individual comments, but you can report recommendations that go against the Facebook Community Standards .

S ometimes Facebook takes down posts before you report them, and others will stay up even after Facebook admins review them. Facebook will review all reports and remove recommendations they deem to violate their rules.

You can choose to disable the reviews tab of your Facebook business page by navigating to the “Settings” tab, clicking “Templates and Tabs ” and switching the “Reviews” section toggle from on to off.

Taking down your reviews will also remove all positive reviews. If there are only a couple of negative or fake reviews on Facebook , it might be better to get more reviews from customers. There are several simple ways to ask customers to leave reviews :

  • Ask customers in person after they purchase something from your business
  • Send an email or text message with a direct link to your review page
  • Place signs in your waiting room or lobby asking customers to leave a review and provide a QR code to your reviews page
  • Embed positive Facebook reviews on your website
  • Offer an incentive to customers who check-in

If you have enough positive reviews, the negative and fake ones will stand out as outliers.

10 Ways To Get More Facebook Reviews For Your Business

Maximize Facebook reviews with our guide. Read and learn the best 10 strategies to boost engagement, trust, and reputation for your business.

facebook-review-feature

Facebook has given word-of-mouth marketing a whole new meaning. One of the prominent evidence of this is the Facebook Reviews feature.

Facebook Reviews are gold. They influence 80% of consumers in their decision-making. They also make up 19% of customer reviews , which is a big number. But the question is, how to get reviews on Facebook?

Just like Google Reviews, Facebook Reviews pack a serious punch in the world of digital word-of-mouth marketing. They’re like the modern-day version of your best friend’s recommendation and can seriously sway potential customers to check out your Facebook business page.

But getting those reviews isn’t always easy. How do you encourage happy customers to share their thoughts?

In this blog, we wil discuss how you can get an influx of organic, authentic, and positive reviews on Facebook to enhance your social proof. Let’s dive in!

What Are Facebook Reviews? What Do They Mean for Your Business?

Facebook reviews are feedback that customers leave on the Facebook business page for the service they received or the product they purchased from the business. These reviews include recommendation tag, star ratings (from 1 to 5), and written comments that describe the user’s experience with the brand.

The number of reviews and star ratings, along with the comments, gives potential customers insight into what it’s like to interact with your business and helps them decide whether or not to choose you.

Your followers can visit your page and look for the ‘Review’ tab at the top to read the reviews given by other users.

Facebook Business Page

Let us look at why business reviews on Facebook are important for you:

  • Builds a Positive Brand Image: Positive reviews of a user based on their first-hand experience with the brand are perceived as more authentic than brand promotions. Facebook reviews are user-generated and, therefore, are more authentic and play a critical role in influencing new customers.
  • Gives More Information: 93% of users confirm they go online to fetch product reviews. At such times, Facebook reviews stand out as a crucial resource for consumers to learn more about your business. The reviews provide critical information, such as what you do and how good you are at it. This information guides the customers in making informed decisions.
  • Gains Trust : Even you would agree that products with 5-star ratings and reviews are more trustworthy. Good reviews paint an image that your business provides a great client experience and is trustworthy and reliable. Such higher ratings increase consumer trust and convince them to prefer your offerings over those of the competitors.
  • Increases User engagement :Facebook provides a two-way street, both for consumers and the brand, to interact. A Facebook user can leave reviews or comment on the post of the brand. At the same time, prompt responses by your business can influence consumers’ mindsets in a positive direction. This goes on to reflect your business’s commitment to customer feedback and service and motivates them to further engage with your brand.

How to Get Facebook Reviews on Your Business Page?

Okay, so now that you understand how to enable reviews and the relevance of Facebook reviews, let us give you the top 10 strategies for getting more reviews on your Facebook pages.

1. Get Facebook Reviews Through Chat

One of the easiest ways for you to request Facebook reviews is via chat.

Chat support has gained momentum and has become a mainstream way of interacting with consumers. In fact, consumers love it, too. 63% of consumers prefer live chat to resolve their concerns.

Your business needs to implement practices in the customer chat support team that make it a habit to ask for a review after every positive interaction. You can train your support team and also give them sample phrases asking for feedback from the consumers. Some polite phrases that can be used for review requests are:

  • We value your feedback! Would you be willing to leave us a review on the Facebook reviews tab to let us know how we did?
  • Your opinion means a lot to us! If you have a moment, we’d love for you to share your experience on Facebook.
  • Thank you for choosing us! We would appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave a review on Facebook.

But wait, there is something else you should know. You can also deploy chatbot technology to make your life easier.

With the help of the Facebook Messenger chatbot, you can easily reach multiple customers and request reviews at the same time. This way, you save a lot of time, money, and effort in fetching more Facebook page reviews.

If this has piqued your interest in chatbot technology, you should learn more about how you can use Facebook Messenger chatbot for your business . This will help you to reach out to your customers and engage with them more efficiently.

While you customize your chatbot, be mindful of creating different chatbot journeys for your customers based on their experiences with you. Therefore, your prompts should be different for each rating.

For instance, in the below image the chatbot responds differently according to the number of star ratings. While in case of one or two stars, it apologizes to the customer for below par experience, it is more thankful and joyous if the customer gives 5 stars.

Customized Response Of Facebook Chatbot As Per Number Of Star Ratings

In the end, remember to share a direct link to your review page, in your chat to encourage the customers for feedback.

2. Get Your Customers to Check-in on Facebook

Facebook has a check-in feature that can also help you collect reviews. After users check-in, Facebook sends them a message requesting a review of the place.

Check In on Facebook

Ensure that your Facebook page is enabled for check-ins because at least 200 friends of the user checking in see the post. At times, such posts attract about 600 impressions as well.

A check-in acts like a user-generated recommendation to users’ friend lists. This is the easiest way to increase your word-of-mouth digitally. Let’s delve into how a check-in helps to attract more reviews:

  • More Visibility: Whenever your friend on Facebook checks-in a restaurant on Facebook, does it not pique an interest in you? Similarly, if a customer checks in your business on Facebook, it enhances your social proof. This gives you higher exposure and more visits from the customers to visit the place and leave their reviews.
  • Reminder of their Experience: When customers check in on Facebook, it makes them rethink their experience with your business. Facebook also encourages them to share the review of their checked-in location, nudging them effectively to provide feedback.
  • Engagement Opportunity: If a customer checks in on your business, they create an opportunity for you to engage with them, thanking them for their visit and asking them to leave a review. This might delight the customer and prompt them to leave an amazing review.

3. Get Reviews Through a ‘Leave Us a Review Email’

Send polite Facebook review request emails to your customers. Sending email requests can give a significant nudge to your customers to leave reviews. Here is a sample mail template you can try out:

Subject – Did you like your experience with us?

Hello (Name),

Thank you very much for trusting us to meet your needs. We hope you had a desirable experience with us.

We are a consumer-centric company that thrives on customer reviews. We would truly appreciate it if

you could leave us feedback about your fantastic or less-than-expected experience. We are waiting to hear about it.

How was it?

Click here to leave us a review.

(Your Company Name)

The good part about email is that it is fast and does not require much effort . All you will need is an email broadcasting tool and a few templates to request customers to leave reviews. However, when sending a mail requesting reviews, keep in mind these two things:

  • Ensure you have the updated email addresses of the consumers. Use email verification tools to verify whether the email addresses you have are valid.
  • Have compelling email templates that generate desired actions from the consumers.

If you do not receive feedback in one go, don’t hesitate to send a follow-up email. Follow-up email will act as a gentle reminder and nudge the recipient to leave a review. However, remember not to be too pushy, or you may get an undesirable review.

4. Add a ‘Review Us’ Button and Facebook Review Badges

Adding a CTA such as ‘Leave Us a Review” or ”Review Us” button or a custom badge on your website can go a long way in getting feedback from customers.

Both the button and the badge can lead users directly to the Facebook review page. The button makes it seamless for consumers to go to the review page and leave feedback, while the badge displays actual feedback from others, which can influence more new reviews.

The badge integrates reviews onto your website and application, and the buttons are a quick way to get more reviews and enhance the trust in the brand . This creates a win-win for boosting engagement and the brand’s online reputation.

5. Ask for Reviews Through Social Media Posts

Create Facebook posts to fetch more star ratings. Design an engaging post that motivates satisfied customers to leave positive reviews.

The image below represents how you can utilize social media to ask for reviews. In this example, an attractive image has been coupled with a caption encouraging customers to share their feedback. This is a perfect example of a visual combined with a clear CTA to engage consumers and collect valuable reviews.

Ask For Reviews Through Social Media Post

Here are some easy guidelines for you that will be helpful in designing the post –

  • Keep it crisp and clear. Keep in mind what you are asking and make it easy for the customer to understand.
  • Provide a direct link to the review section for easy access.
  • Thank them in advance for choosing you and for their Facebook review.
  • Include eye-catching visuals or graphics in your post to draw attention.
  • Choose the right time to post the request. Posting at a time when the audience is more active can lead to a higher response.
  • If you receive the reviews, take time to respond and show appreciation to the customer. This will show the value you have for the input and encourage people to give more reviews and future business opportunities.

You do not need to restrain yourself just to Facebook. Go ahead and share similar posts on other social media platforms as well.

You can enable notifications for new reviews on your business profile. This is crucial as it will help you to respond to each and every feedback and share the good ones on your feed.

How to enable notifications for new Facebook reviews?

Step 1: Go to your Facebook page and click settings on the left column.

Step 2: Click on notifications.

Step 3: Find the New page review button and click on Turn On.

Step 4: Congratulations! You have activated the notifications. You will now be notified whenever someone leaves a star rating on your profile.

Notifications alert businesses as soon as Facebook users add a review to your business profile. When you respond to these feedbacks promptly, you show customers that their opinions are valuable to your company and encourages them to continue sharing their thoughts about your brand.

7. Deal with the Negative Reviews

While you seek more positive reviews, people who are dissatisfied with a business are more likely to leave a bad review. Negative reviews can harm your business. In fact, about 94% of consumers reported turning their backs on businesses that received a negative review.

So, what should you do if you receive a negative feedback on your Facebook business profile? Here are 6 points that can help you defuse the situation –

  • The first rule of dealing with negative feedbacks is to respond promptly. Politely apologize to the consumers for the poor experience.
  • Keep the response brief and precise by addressing the customer’s specific experience to reflect you understand their concern.
  • Follow a non-confrontational approach and use polite sentences, and acknowledge the review. Express regret for the poor experience.
  • Thank the customer for taking the time and effort in giving their time to leave feedback.
  • Offer the customer an opportunity to discuss the matter further privately over call, chat, or email and work towards a solution.
  • Provide updates to the customers about how you are dealing with or have dealt with the problem.

This image clearly shows how to handle a negative review. In this example, a dissatisfied customer leaves a negative review on the business’s Facebook profile, and the business responds promptly. They explain the rationale behind the unrecoverable cost in the case of trip cancellation, offer a solution, and express their gratitude. It’s a great example of turning a negative experience into a positive interaction.

Respond to Negative Reviews on Facebook Review Profile

Also do not worry if you get bad reviews. Negative reviews are a small opportunity to bridge gaps in your customer service and thus improve and manage your brand’s reputation. Helping aggrieved customers with their issues ensures that you better your reputation and engage other customers.

8. Ask for Reviews One-on-One

You can ask for reviews online in any number of ways, but if you have a brick-and-mortar store, the best way is to ask for a review verbally. Simply asking for reviews verbally can also be an answer to how to get reviews on Facebook business page.

You can ask for a verbal review. Use polite phrases such as:

  • If you enjoyed your visit today, we’d really appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on Facebook!
  • Thanks for stopping by! We’d be grateful if you could leave us a review on Facebook to share your experience.
  • We’d love to hear about your experience! Would you mind leaving us a review on Facebook?
  • You can also add reminders about the store, such as a review URL, hanging string tags, QR codes, and more.

In-person reviews allow local businesses to establish a personal connection with their customers. This personal touch can make customers feel more valued and inclined to leave a review.

Many customers still respond to direct requests from someone they have interacted with, such as sales representatives or maybe owners themselves. This trust can also lead to higher review conversion rates.

While seeking in-person reviews, you can guide the customers on how to give Facebook reviews. Also, you can guide them on what type of feedback they can give you. However, remember not to be too pushy, or the reviews will become inorganic.

Asking for a review immediately after offering a mind-blowing experience will increase the likelihood of receiving a positive review.

9. Promote Positive Reviews on Social Media

There is no marketing that is better than positive word-of-mouth from existing users. The reviews of satisfied customers inspire new customers to try your product and leave feedback, too.

Reviews received on your Facebook business page are authentic user-generated content. Thus, you must promote them very actively across all your social channels.

You can also leverage social media to your advantage by sharing customer reviews, just like SocialPilot. As you see in the image below, SocialPilot shares customer feedback regarding its scheduling tool, engaging its audience while also enhancing its credibility.

Promote Positive Reviews on Social Media

But how do you share such feedback on your social media? Here are some best practices for creating engaging social media posts that share positive user experiences:

  • Keep it concise: The average attention span of social media users has dropped to approximately 8.25 seconds. Therefore, design a concise and appealing post.
  • Use Hashtags: Hashtags are a way to make your post discoverable. Use hashtags that align well with your content and target audience.
  • Use Storytelling: A sure way to connect with the audience is to use storytelling techniques . This technique will help establish an emotional connection with the audience.

Social media is very useful when looking for a solution for getting reviews on a Facebook page. By leveraging other platforms such as X (earlier Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, and others, you can cross-promote your Facebook profile and reach a larger audience.

Also, you can share a post on all platforms with a direct link to your Facebook page, and ask interested people to be a part of your community and share their feedback there as well.

10. Answering Consumers’ Questions and Comments

Make sure to engage with your customers across all social media accounts.

Just like you respond to all the negative and positive feedback, it is important to get back to all the comments and questions left by the consumers and followers of your accounts.

When you reply to all the comments and questions, the consumers get the impression that the page is busy, yet the responses are prompt. This motivates them to ask their own questions and give their own feedback for your brand.

Answering questions removes obstacles regarding the product or the service in the mind of the consumer . A satisfactory response can convince the customer to shop with you.

So if you engage well with your followers and customers on Facebook and they also get a great buying experience, they are likely to leave behind a great review.

Are you Ready to Get More Reviews on Facebook Page?

As a business, your major focus is on satisfying customers. A customer-centered mindset necessitates listening to your customers. Facebook reviews give your customers the opportunity to speak their minds about your brand and thus help you understand how they feel.

We hope that the points mentioned in this short guide have helped you to move in a direction that is helpful in adding more feedback to your review section on your Facebook profile.

Remember –

  • Give value to each piece of feedback – good or bad. All feedback gives an opportunity to enhance customer relationships.
  • Engage with reviews and comments regularly. Thank the customers and address their concerns promptly.

Why you need to embed Facebook Reviews to your website page

Customer reviews are an important commercial factor, along with the company section, shipping and payment terms, employee page, and other features. The testimonials page on the site affects not only the ranking in Google, but also the choice of users. A positive assessment of the company’s activities increases the trust of site visitors and, as a result, the conversion from visitors to customers.

That’s why let’s discover some interesting facts about reviews you might find useful.

94% of users confirm bad reviews convinced them not to buy
  • Among customers who read reviews on website pages, 97% read responses to negative reviews.
  • Research shows that negative reviews add a company 10% more for each new hire .

While a few negative reviews are important to a business because they give the user a sense of reality and the truth of the information, overall negative reviews can be devastating to your business. This can cost you tens of thousands of dollars or even more in income and other expenses.

A 1 star rating upgrade can result in a 5% to 9% increase in revenue
  • One positive business review can improve conversions by 10%.
  • A hundred positive reviews can increase conversions by 37%.
  • Customers will spend 31% more on companies with great reviews.
  • 92% of B2B buyers will make a purchase decision after reading a trusting review.

As you can see, the value of positive reviews is such that they can be amazing when it comes to conversions – and why not? The more reviews about the company in a positive way, the more people will trust it and be willing to pay for its products.

82% of consumers look for negative reviews specifically
  • More than half (57%) of customers would not use a business if its consumer rating is below 4 out of 5 stars.
  • One negative consumer review of a business is enough for 35% of people to decide not to buy from that company.
  • According to online review statistics, you need about 40 positive reviews to cancel out the damage of one negative one.
  • More than four negative reviews can reduce a company’s sales by 70%.
  • Negative reviews affect the purchase decision of 86% of consumers.

As you can see, negative reviews are not necessarily bad for your business. There is such a thing as too good to be true. Of course, no business owner likes negative reviews, but the lack of them on a website page makes all other reviews look paid or fake. In addition, you can use feedback from dissatisfied customers to improve your services.

89% of consumers read company responses.
  • Companies that respond to online reviews on their website pages increase 30% of customers’ trust in their brand.
  • 53% of customers believe that a company should respond to a negative review within a week.
  • Companies that respond to their customers’ inquiries increase their business reviews by 12%. Moreover, their stars in Google reviews have risen by 0.12.
  • When businesses email their customers a direct link to submit a review, their Google rankings improve.

It’s clear as day that online reviews matter . However, don’t leave clients hanging. Interact with them. Show that you care.

How to get more customer reviews on Facebook?

Only 12% of users leave feedback for their purchases, the rest of the buyers do this only if they are very satisfied or very unhappy with the product. If the company wants to get more reviews and then add them to their website, you need to gently push users to do so. And below we’ll see the tools that can help you in collecting customer feedback.

  • Post-purchase call – give the customer a couple of days to get acquainted with the product after the purchase or to add an opinion about the experience gained after purchasing the service. Then remind him about it. A short call will not annoy the client, but it will give you a review with fresh impressions. The call can be transcribed and added to the customer thanks section.
  • Questionnaire in the store – the client will not have enough time for a detailed answer being in the store, so it is better to prepare the questionnaire in the form of a survey with a scale and embed it to your website. Prepare a few questions, set a range for the score, and embed the forms at the checkout.
  • QR code in the store – for customers who are not comfortable filling out the questionnaire, you can add a QR code that can be used to complete an electronic survey from a mobile phone. A QR code can lead both to a separate survey, and to the reviews section on a website page or to a map service.
  • Personal surveys and interviews – the method is more suitable for B2B business, when buyers or partners visit the company’s office for meetings. Prepare a detailed list of questions and arrange a time with the buyer – questions can be submitted in the form of a questionnaire for written answers or asked in an interview.
  • Post-purchase email – If a customer specifies email as their preferred method of communication, instead of calling, send them an email a few days after the purchase or service has been received and offer to share their opinion about the product.
  • Newsletter and bonuses – this method is suitable for regular customers who often use the company’s services. Invite buyers to evaluate the quality of goods, services, delivery and other factors by sending a survey that you can embed to the mailing list. Customers who complete the survey can be given a bonus, such as a gift, discount, or certificate.
  • Social Media Poll – a short, multiple choice survey is great for Facebook and won’t take up much of the user’s time. In addition, on social networks, users often leave comments under posts themselves – to push them to this, ask a question or offer to share an opinion at the end of the post.
  • Contests on Facebook – contests stimulate the activity of buyers. Offer your audience to make a photo or video review, write a review or tell about the experience of using the purchase and post it on the social network with the contest hashtag. Don’t forget about prizes for participants or winners.

5 tips on how to work with reviews and collect them correctly

Respond to reviews.

Replies to reviews on Facebook encourage users to keep leaving comments. For example, a response to a negative review shows that the company is not indifferent to customers, trying to solve the problem of the client and smooth out dissatisfaction. Responses to positive reviews are no less important – the author wanted to share a positive experience, took the time and tried on the review, he will be pleased that the brand appreciated his work and opinion.

Prepare the structure of the client's response.

If you don’t want the humble “Thanks everyone, it’s all good” feedback, give the user hints. For example, add some fields and name them, for instance “What did you like about the product”, “Why did you buy it”, “Will you buy it again”, and so on. It will be easier for the buyer to navigate, and you will receive a detailed review. In surveys, think over the answer options that you can aa so that each client can easily choose the right option.

Don't be intrusive

No need to attack the client with calls and letters that you add to your newsletter plan every week, contact the buyer only at key moments. For example, in three days after the purchase, you can find out their first impression, after a month you can ask to add their thoughts about usage experience, and after three months of regular purchases you can embed a survey into your newsletter and ask them how they like your company’s work.

Consider a bonus system

Bonuses smooth out the negative well and stimulate activity in contests, but you need to think over the incentive system so as not to go into the red. Decide which bonuses customers with negative reviews will receive as an apology, which rewards will be given to winners and participants in contests, and what can be offered to users for completing surveys embedded to your website.

Use an individual approach

Don’t respond to every review with a pre-made template. Prepare a “skeleton” for different types of reviews, but supplement the comment with individual details based on the review itself. Clients will be pleased to receive a “live” response, rather than a template response.

Ratings and reviews can be an effective SEO tool when incorporated into popular search engines, such as seller ratings. Don’t be afraid of negative reviews. They can and should be used.

It is important to work with reviews on Facebook on a regular basis. In large companies, entire departments of employees are organized who search, respond and add reviews to the site. There are also alternatives – review aggregation services that allow you to save on the salaries of content managers.

Ratings and reviews on your website are great value for your company. They increase consumer confidence in the brand and the visibility of its products on the Internet, and consequently increase sales day by day.

How to Create a QR Code with a Review Link for Google

facebook review qr code

In the digital age, fresh and positive online reviews are more than just casual remarks; they're powerful tools that shape the reputation and visibility of businesses, particularly in the local sphere. For businesses with high foot traffic, such as restaurants and retail stores, where the opportunity to collect personal details for follow-ups might be limited, harnessing the power of QR codes for reviews becomes not just innovative but essential. This blog post delves into the significance of online reviews, introduces QR codes as a potent instrument for gathering such feedback, and offers a step-by-step guide on creating a QR code linked to Google reviews. Additionally, it explores how platforms like Pluspoint can elevate the process, ensuring businesses not only gather reviews but also engage effectively with their clientele.

The Importance of Online Reviews

In today’s digital marketplace, online reviews are the backbone of a business's reputation. They influence consumer decisions, with a vast majority of customers reading online reviews before visiting a business. Positive feedback enhances your visibility on search engines, encourages trust, and ultimately drives sales. Negative reviews, on the other hand, offer a chance for improvement and responding to them can show your business in a positive, customer-focused light.

Why QR Codes?

QR codes offer a seamless bridge between physical and digital interactions, making them an ideal tool for businesses that see a high volume of foot traffic but may not have the opportunity to collect contact information from every customer. By simplifying the process of leaving a review to a quick scan, businesses can encourage more customers to share their experiences online, significantly boosting the quantity and quality of their reviews.

Creating a QR Code for Google Reviews: A Step-by-Step Guide

Gathering Google reviews through QR codes can be a straightforward process. Here’s how you can create one:

Step 1: Find Your Place ID

Visit the Google Places API and enter your company name in the Place ID Finder map. This tool helps you locate the unique identifier Google uses for your business in its databases.

facebook review qr code

Step 2: Copy the Place ID

Once you’ve found your business on the map, a marker will display your Place ID. Copy this ID carefully; this is the key to creating your unique review link.

Step 3: Create Your Review Link

Next, paste the copied Place ID after the '=' sign in the URL: https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid= . This creates a direct link to the review page of your business on Google.

Step 4: Generate Your QR Code

Navigate to a QR code generator like QRCode Monkey or another platform of your choice. Enter the review link you created in Step 3, customize your QR code with colors, logos, or shapes to match your brand, and then generate the code.

Step 5: Your QR Code is Ready

Download the QR code image, and you're all set to start collecting Google reviews! You can display this QR code prominently in your store, on receipts, or even in promotional materials.

Leveling Up with Pluspoint

While creating a QR code for reviews is a step in the right direction, platforms like Pluspoint offer tools to take your customer engagement and review management to the next level. Pluspoint allows businesses to collect feedback directly, offering a chance to address customer complaints before they turn into negative reviews. Additionally, it provides analytics to track review trends and automated messaging for follow-ups with clients who leave reviews, ensuring that every customer feels heard and appreciated.

Beyond QR Codes

It's crucial to recognize that QR codes, while effective for many, may not suit every business model. For businesses with lower foot traffic or those that regularly collect customer contact information, engaging customers through text messages or emails might yield better review collection rates. Pluspoint's capabilities extend to automating these survey campaigns, complete with reminders, ensuring that no opportunity for gathering valuable customer feedback is missed.

Use a Facebook QR Code to Boost Facebook Engagement

What is a facebook qr code.

A Facebook QR Code is a QR Code solution that connects to your Facebook profile and summarizes your business with a clear and mobile-friendly page. Facebook QR Codes are perfect for connecting print marketing materials with your Facebook page with just a quick QR Code scan.

What information can I display on a Facebook QR Code?

A Facebook QR Code displays the following elements:

  • Your Facebook profile URL with a direct link that users can click on.
  • A headline and a short description of your business.
  • A featured image and customizable brand colors.
  • A button to ‘like’ your Facebook page directly within the Facebook QR Code page.
  • Amount of Facebook page likes (can be turned off).
  • An additional link to your website or a landing page below the Facebook information.

Why do I need a Facebook QR Code?

Summarizes your facebook business page.

A Facebook QR Code provides a quick and direct overview of why a user should visit your Facebook page with a headline and short description, as well as the option to like your Facebook page directly (without having to visit it). You can decide whether or not to display your likes, and there’s also an option to link your website or a landing page below the Facebook profile information. This means you can add a Facebook QR Code on other marketing materials and streamline the process for users to connect with your profile via smartphone instead of having to search for the link themselves.

Customizable to match your brand

Both the page connected to your Facebook QR Code and the Facebook QR Code itself is customizable. On your linked page, you can customize it with your brand colors and a logo. QR Codes can be styled with the same branding elements, as well as custom frames with a unique CTA (call to action) and different edge styles. You can also choose from various image file formats when you download your QR Code so that you can adjust its size and style for each type of marketing material you need - both print and digital.

Always editable and updatable

Did you know that QR Codes aren’t always permanent once printed? If you choose a Dynamic QR Code like the Facebook solution, you can update your information connected to that QR Code at any time without having to remake your QR Code. So it’s no problem if you accidentally made a mistake in your link or need to update it for a different profile.Furthermore, if you decide that a different QR Code solution works better than a Facebook QR Code, you can change the solution type anytime you need it!

Can I see some use cases for a Facebook QR Code?

If you’d like to get inspired to use QR Codes in innovative and unique ways, here are a few examples from fictional brands to get your creativity flowing.

Retailers like Elle Boutique wanted to use their store locations and product packaging to increase their Facebook followers. They added a Facebook QR Code to table tents at checkout, in the dressing room, and even on clothing tags so they could maximize the chance for their customers to follow them.

Hotels & Resorts

Grand Hotel & Resort receives substantial amounts of bookings from their Facebook followers. They wanted to take every opportunity to increase Facebook followers by adding a Facebook QR Code to their product packaging , on table tents in the rooms, on their guest manual, and even a poster ad located in their city.

Consumer Packaged Goods

Facebook QR Codes give product packaging the perfect marketing boost. Betty Baker knew that increasing their Facebook followers is key to getting more sales, so they added Facebook QR Codes to every single product package to jumpstart their progress.

Are there any Facebook QR Code best practices I should know about?

Minimum size.

Generally speaking, a QR Code should be no smaller than 2 x 2 cm (around 0.8 x 0.8 in), because otherwise, they become too small for people to see and for QR Code scanners to detect. If in doubt about the size, always go larger to ensure that you don’t encounter QR Code scanning problems and lose out on potential customers.

When designing your Facebook QR Code, you have the option to add your logo (or an image) in the middle. We highly recommend doing this, because it not only helps users recognize your brand in connection with your Facebook page, but it also increases trustworthiness that scanning your QR Code is secure for the user.

When choosing the colors for your Facebook QR Code, there are a few details to keep in mind. Always use a darker color for the foreground (the black and square pixels itself), a lighter color for the background, and maintain the quiet zone to avoid any scanning issues. For a complete guide on custom QR Code design, we’ve got an overview here .

Printing formats

QR Codes can be downloaded as four different image file formats: JPG, PNG, EPS, or even SVG. This gives you complete flexibility for integrating your QR Code into your marketing material designs in terms of size and format. Adding a QR Code to a design can be done with any photo editing tool.

Optional page Like display

A Facebook QR Code has a unique and highly useful addition: The option to display page likes. For social media, in general, the more likes a page has, the more likely it is to get more. So, you can use this fact to your advantage and turn on your page like count so everyone who scans your QR Code can see it and like your page without even having to visit it directly.

All you need to scan a Facebook QR Code is a QR Code scanning app on your smartphone. There are many options in the app store, and sometimes they even come pre-installed. Furthermore, certain newer models of Android and Apple phones have enabled QR Code scanning directly through their camera.

Your Facebook Code should be no smaller than 2 x 2 cm (around 0.8 x 0.8 in), but the exact size you need depends on how you want to display it. All QR Codes are adjustable in size and can be made to match with all types of designs. We’ve got a guide with more details on printing QR Codes here for a bit more help.

No, you can only link to one Facebook page per Facebook QR Code. If you’d like to promote multiple pages, you’ll need to make separate Facebook QR Codes. It’s actually better to market them in this way anyway because you’ll get better results when you focus the audience on one specific page. If you’d like to add multiple social media profile links into a single QR Code, check out the Social Media QR Code for this purpose.

How to Create a Google Review QR Code to Improve Your Business

facebook review qr code

There are several benefits to being attentive to customer feedback, but the main ones are increasing the level of customer satisfaction and promoting improvements in products and services.

The impact on sales is noticeable. Satisfied customers tend to buy more and are more likely to defend the brand, and recommend it to their friends. In addition, the chances of attracting new customers are even greater.

Another important issue is the possibility of differentiating the brand from the competition. It is increasingly difficult to do this based on functional attributes alone, which requires attention to the experiences that can be provided to the public.

Today, QR codes are an excellent way to obtain customer reviews and improve your services and products.

In this post, you’ll learn how to create a Google Review QR code on our QR code generator and get the most out of it for your business.

Google Reviews is a feature provided by Google that allows users to leave online reviews and ratings for businesses and places they have visited or used.

It’s part of Google Maps and Google Search, where users can see reviews and ratings provided by other users to help them make informed decisions about where to go, what to buy, or which services to use.

Businesses can claim their Google My Business listing to manage their online presence, including responding to Google business reviews and interacting with customers.

Google Reviews have become a significant aspect of online reputation management for businesses, as positive reviews can attract more customers, while negative reviews can potentially deter them.

facebook review qr code

QR codes for Google Reviews are a type of QR code that links customers or prospects to a Google Review page where businesses can collect feedback on a service or product.

When they scan the QR code for feedback, they are directed to a link containing a feedback form. There, they can leave a Google Review using their own Google account.

There, consumers can give a star rating and type an actual review, which businesses can access, read, and get into the minds of their clientele.

Once clients share their reviews of a business, product, or service, you can use this valuable information to up your game and continue to do what you’re doing right.

Reviews are opinions or comments that users leave on review websites like TrustPilot, Tripadvisor, and of course, Google. The primary function of reviews is to increase the business’s presence, trust, and credibility —especially local businesses.

This gives greater conviction to internet users and future customers who are looking for the services and products that companies offer. The impact of customer feedback cannot be underestimated.

Therefore, reviews become a critical factor in a user’s decision-making process since, based on them, they can decide whether or not to buy the product or service.

A way to gauge how a potential client rates our credibility is by reviewing the number of stars someone else has given a business and the comments they have written on Google Review. This way, prospects measure customer satisfaction.

To collect feedback via a Google Review QR code, you can create it and place it on the following:

  • Product packaging
  • Restaurant tables
  • Front desk or hall

Anyone able to scan the Google Review QR code can leave a rating and a review.

Also, you can create a QR code for multiple links that lead to other review websites like Yelp, Facebook, Trustpilot, Tripadvisor, and many more. You can also collect feedback via Google Forms by creating a Google Forms QR code .

Anyone scanning these codes can leave a rating and a review on these and all the review websites you want your company or business to be reviewed.

Benefits of the Google Review QR Code

Getting customers to give feedback is sometimes a difficult task —people tend to leave reviews only when their expectations are not met.

However, QR codes will prompt them to leave feedback —hopefully positive— since you’re asking for their opinion via the code.

QR codes are an innovative and convenient way to ask customers for feedback. This will make them more likely to leave a rating and share their thoughts after acquiring a product or service.

If you create a feedback QR code that connects to a review website —Google, Yelp, G2, Trustpilot, etc.— you will get the notification once customers post it.

This means you don’t have to wait too long until you finally get to know what your clients think of your company or business.

The purpose of asking for feedback is to measure how satisfied customers are so that you can make improvements in your product value proposition or customer service. Not all customers know how to leave a review online, so QR codes pose a fantastic opportunity.

The ultimate goal when you collect feedback is to improve your business by increasing your reputation. QR codes help you do just that by taking you closer to your prospects and clients.

Reviews have become a fundamental element on the Internet and their influence on the purchase decision has increased over time.

Paying attention to what your customers say about you is essential for your reputation and to know if your business is doing well or if, on the contrary, you should make some changes.

To get the best of the Google Review QR code, you can create a dynamic QR code on the QR.io platform. This type of QR code offers unique functionalities such as being 100% editable as many times as you need —you can change the contents in a flash.

Also, the dynamic QR code will allow you to track the number of scans, the location, and the device used so you understand your customer better and draw unique and valuable insight.

Google Review QR Code Uses and Applications

facebook review qr code

Regardless of the type of product you sell —household items, electronic devices, packaged food, etc.— you can use a Google Review QR code to collect reviews and ratings that will appear con Google.

If you’ve launched a new product, you can collect feedback via a QR code on the packaging and see how customers are engaging with it.

Collecting this information will let you know what is right or wrong regarding your product so you make changes accordingly.

Restaurants are very sensitive to customer feedback, so not knowing what your clientele thinks could be a recipe for disaster.

Printing the feedback QR code and placing it on tables or in the checkout area is a great idea to prompt dinners to leave a review.

This feedback is essential to making adjustments to the menu, offering new dishes, and evaluating the possibility of introducing complementary products.

Feedback forms are very common in seminars, conferences, and academic events. However, there is a problem: they are in print. Introducing feedback QR codes in your events will motivate attendees to share their experiences.

You can print the codes on any takeaway materials, brochures, flyers, and more. People won’t need to fill in a physical form, but they’ll just need to scan the code and access the digital form embedded in the code.

You can include a link to tourist surveys on a small piece of paper attached to the receipt given to the guest at checkout. The sheet could have a branded, easy-to-remember short URL and QR code to help customers quickly find the survey online.

QR codes are a great way to automatize the feedback-gathering process among guests. The code will take them straight away to Google Review, or websites like TripAdvisor, Expedia Local Expert, Viator, and even social media pages on Facebook depending on the URL you use.

If you offer any service to end customers, the Google Review QR code is essential to connect with your clients and know how satisfied they are. Securing those reviews will not only help you shape your services to meet their needs but will also help you manage your reputation online.

How to Make a Feedback QR Code with a QR Code Generator

You can create your feedback form embedded in a QR code in the following simple steps.

Tips to Get the Most Out of Your Google Review QR Code

Place the QR code in visible areas within your business premises, such as near the entrance, at the checkout counter, or on printed materials like receipts or menus.

Encourage customers to scan the QR code and leave a review by offering incentives such as discounts, freebies, or entry into a giveaway. However, ensure that your incentives comply with Google’s policies to avoid any issues.

Educate your staff about the importance of reviews and how to ask customers to leave them. Friendly reminders or prompts from staff members can encourage customers to scan the QR code and share their feedback.

Include simple instructions near the QR code, explaining how customers can scan it using their smartphones and leave a review. Make the process as straightforward as possible to encourage participation.

Actively engage with customers who have scanned the QR code and left reviews. Respond promptly and courteously to both positive and negative reviews to show that you value customer feedback.

Promote your QR code and encourage reviews both online (via your website, social media channels, and email newsletters) and offline (through signage, flyers, and in-person interactions).

Ultimately, the best way to get more positive reviews is by providing excellent products or services and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Satisfied customers are more likely to leave positive reviews voluntarily.

Google Review QR codes are dynamic by default, so you can edit the contents as many times as you see fit. You can change the page title, to allow customers to give you feedback on any other products.

To create a QR code for feedback, simply:

  • Open your QR.io account
  • Click on + Create QR Code from the dashboard
  • Select Dynamic > Website URL
  • Select the color page and enter the information

Feedback is an essential part of the development of every business. But since reviews —especially positive ones— are sometimes hard to get, you can prompt customers with an attractive QR code that will do the trick!

No matter how highly someone rates your product or service, they will likely not take the pain of looking up your business and leaving a review. People lead busy lives, after all.

Worse, reviewing your business won’t even cross your customers’ minds unless they’re signaled or incentivized. This is where QR Codes become the game-changer.

With a Google review QR Code, you can make it easier for customers to drop you a review and do much more.

Higher on local Google Search and Maps

When customers living close by look up a service you provide, you can show up on local search and get people to pay a visit. It’s a failproof way of attracting footfall without spending a single penny.

For example, when searching for ‘ Sushi restaurants near me ,’ here are the results you’ll get:

Google search results

With over 12 million results, getting customers to leave honest reviews can help your business show higher on the list. Moreover, acquiring a QR Code for Google reviews will make the job frictionless and quick.

Google reviews are the badges of trust

facebook review qr code

When you’re eyeing something to buy, it’s only practical to look up reviews online and gauge if the product delivers on the claim.

At least 95% of customers will look at online reviews before they go ahead with a purchase. Around 81% are also most likely to start with Google reviews.

This is why having a string of positive or honest reviews under your Google Business profile is a big win . It will not only boost your visibility but act as proof of quality as well. It’s also more likely to get you new business and fuel growth over the long term.

Generating the Google review QR Code is only the first step in a journey of a thousand miles. To get the best value out of this business tool, you should practice some do’s and don’ts outlined below:

  • Start with the basics. Your Google review QR Code image should ideally be of the highest quality. It must contain your business logo.
  • Make sure to respond positively and promptly to every review left on your profile, even the negative ones. This simple exercise will make your customers notice that you care about their opinions.
  • Customers will not drop a review unless they get a reminder. Make sure to put the Google review QR Code at sensible touchpoints like your store or restaurant’s exit door or on the packaging.
  • Don’t limit Google reviews to just customers . If you have partners and vendors in your network, you can ask them kindly to drop a review about doing business with you.
  • Don’t forget to ask customers in person to leave you a review , mainly if they express enjoying your product/service. Make sure to emphasize how quick and easy it is with QR Codes.

Customers today can rate businesses, influencing other people’s decisions. The higher your business rating, the more customers will see it.

If you want more reviews, you can ask people about it or write them on your advertising flyers or business cards. However, many people may find this process inconvenient.

In this case, a QR Code for Google reviews is your best bet. It can bring a lot of positive outcomes. Thus, if you’ve contemplated generating one, this is your sign to get on with it.

FAQs on QR Code for Google Reviews .

Can i buy google reviews.

Yes, you can. You must purchase from the right sellers, as not all services sell real Google reviews. If you go with a reputable company, you won’t need to worry about getting penalized for having fake business reviews.

What is the difference between a link and a short URL?

A short URL is a shortened and often faster version of longer links. A link and a short URL send users to the same page, but only a short URL makes it easier to view the source. If you generate a QR Code, you’ll most likely get a short URL to use alongside your code.

Can anyone delete my Google review?

The person who posted it and the business owner are the only ones who can delete a Google review.

Your email address will not be published.

How to Create QR Code for Facebook Page on All Platforms

Whether it is a business page, freelancing, or just your personal page, one of the better ways to promote your Facebook page is by using QR codes. You can print these QR Codes in pamphlets, posters, tees, etc, and bring your offline ad viewers online. If you are Facebook page’s admin, you can use the in-built option offered by Facebook to create a QR Code directly. If not, you can use third-party services to get it done. Here’s how you can create a Facebook page on all the platforms.

Table of Contents

How to Create QR Code for Facebook Page

1. To Create a QR Code for your Facebook page, head over to that page on the Facebook website.

2. Then Scroll down and click on Publishing Tools in the left sidebar.

publishing tools on Facebook page

3. On the Publishing Tools page, scroll down and select the QR Code option in the left sidebar.

4. Here you can either select Check-in to your page option and click on Download All Posters .

Download QR Code from Facebook

5. This will download the PDF file. Here you can find the QR Code in different styles from using on pamphlets to using as gift covers.

Downloaded QR Code for Facebook page

That way, you can share the QR Code for your Facebook page. But as it is an in-built option, you also get the option to check insights like how many people have opened your Facebook page, how many liked, etc.

6. To check those insights, open your Facebook Page home page. Here scroll down and open Insights in the left sidebar.

Opening Facebook page Insights

7. In the Page Insights page, scroll down and open the QR Code option in the left sidebar.

8. Here you will find analytics of all the traffic you received on your Facebook page from the QR codes that you promoted.

QR Code Insights

Facebook doesn’t offer the QR code tool on its mobile apps. To do that, you need to open the Facebook.com website in the desktop view.

But this method is possible only if you are the admin of the Facebook page. If you are not, you need to rely on third-party services. Here’s how you can create a QR Code for Facebook Page with third-party tools.

How to Create a QR Code for Facebook Page With Third-Party Tools

Of all the QR code-making apps I tested, Flowcode worked great. It not only provides you the option to generate a QR Code for your Facebook page, but also provides customization options to make your QR Code represent your brand. With such options, Flowcode is an even better option than the native QR code tool from Facebook.

1. To create a QR Code, open Flowcode and sign up for a free account.

Opening free Flowcode account

2. On the home screen, give your Flowcode a name and click on the Create button.

Creating a new Flowcode

3. Here select Facebook and paste your Facebook page link.

Entering the Facebook link for QR Code

4. Now scroll down and customize the look of your Flowcode like color, pattern, design style, etc. You can also upload an image to paste it in the center of the Flowcode. An example can be your brand logo.

Customizing the QR Code in Flowcode

5. Once done customizing, click on Create and Download Flowcode.

Download Flowcode

6. Then in the pop-up, you can select the file type between PNG, JPG, and SVG.

In the dashboard of the Flowcode, click on the Analytics option to check out Insights of how many people are using your QR Code and how well it is working.

All the features you need are available in Flowcode’s free version. The pro plan allows creating bulk Flowcodes, more customization options, add multiple links to a single Flowcode, download the Flowcode in PDF file format, etc.

How to Create a QR Code for Facebook Page on the Smartphone

As we don’t have the option to create a QR Code from the Facebook app on the smartphone, you can either use the desktop view on the browser or use the third-party app called QR Tiger app.

1. First, download the QR Tiger app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

2. Now open the Facebook app and open the page that you want to create the QR Code of.

3. On the page, click on the More option in the top bar, scroll down and tap on the Copy Page Link option to copy the page link to your clipboard.

Copying Facebook Page link address on phone

4. Now open the QR Tiger app and tap on the Facebook option. Here paste the copied Facebook page link and tap on Generate QR Code .

Creating Facebook QR Code with QR Tiger

5. On the next, page, you can select the QR Code pattern style, add a logo, change color, etc and then tap on Download for free .

Customizing QR Code in QR Tiger app

That’s it, the QR Code will be saved as an image on your phone. You can open the files app or gallery app to share it.

Unlike the native option on Flowcode, you don’t have the option to check insights with the QR Tiger app. So I recommend using Flowcode on the browser or using the native Facebook method using desktop view if you need insights about your QR Code.

Wrapping Up: Create QR Code for Facebook Page

Whether you are on the desktop or smartphone, I recommend going with Flowcode as it provides the option to customize as well as provide you basic insights you need. Whereas the default Facebook option is easier to create with fewer steps. But if you want to create with an app on the smartphone, you get the customization options, but at the cost of the insights for your Facebook page.

Facebook QR code generator

Create a facebook qr code for your facebook page.

If you want people to quickly access and like your Facebook page, creating a Facebook QR code with a link to it is essential. QRStuff is one of the best and most reliable tools to create a Facebook QR code in a few easy steps. You can try it out for free!

What is a Facebook QR code?

Why should i use a qr code for my facebook page, what information is stored in a facebook qr code, what are the benefits of creating a facebook qr code, how do i use a facebook qr code to grow my business, places to use a facebook qr code for your business, how to create a facebook qr code, static qr code for facebook, dynamic qr code for facebook.

A QR code for Facebook enables you to directly send your customers or clients to your Facebook business page. They just need to scan the QR code you’ve generated using their phone.

A Facebook QR code can be a great tool to market your business and grow your online presence on Facebook. It’s much easier for someone to scan your Facebook QR code than manually having to enter the URL to your Facebook page.

The reason is that scanning takes way less time and is also fun to do. Once on the page, they can like, comment, or even share it.

Since QR codes became popular, many businesses have grown to use them. They are still relevant in this day and age and will continue to be for a long time. It’s not too late to create and enjoy the benefits of a QR code for your Facebook page.

There are several reasons why you should create a QR code for your Facebook page. Here are some of the main ones:

Convenient to users

QR codes remove the need to manually type in a web address to access a site on the Internet. Facebook QR codes give users fast and effortless access to your Facebook page on the Facebook app or website.

A call to action

A call to action is always great for businesses. Many customers would love to be shown the next steps to take. Your Facebook QR code can direct them towards an important action or follow up on your page.

It’s possible to measure their effectiveness

Unlike billboards and other traditional ways of marketing, measuring the performance of a QR code is possible. You can determine the clicks as well as other useful data to determine whether the QR code is helpful to your business.

QR codes can include text such as website URLs and descriptions. This means that a Facebook QR code can have a link to a business’ Facebook page. Anyone that scans the QR code can access the page quickly and engage with it.

Also, a Facebook QR code has a headline and a short description of what the business page is about. There’s a featured brand image too that visually attracts users.

facebook review qr code

But, if you have a Facebook QR code they can scan it and quickly find your page. Plus, they can scan the page right there and then, and won’t forget.

Redirect people to like your Facebook business page

Numerous ways to get people to visit your social media pages online exist. These include inviting them and creating targeted ads. Facebook QR codes can put an end to fragmented engagement funnels. If your customer has just received the package they've ordered from you, you could place a Facebook QR code on the inside of the box and get them to like your page at the moment they're most excited.

Are you a restaurant owner? Put a Facebook QR code on the bill, or near the door. It's precisely right after your customer has had a great experience (thanks to you!) that they're most likely to follow you. Streamline the process and make it easy for them to be a fan with a QR code they see at the right time, in the right place.

Promote an upcoming Facebook event

Many brands have events and Facebook is one of the best ways to let people know about it. A Facebook QR code is useful for getting your buyers to take part in an online event.

Get reviews for your business

If you want your buyers to leave reviews, a Facebook QR code to your business page is a great way to do so. They can give their honest opinion right away after scanning the code.

Printed materials

Put your Facebook QR code on magazines, flyers, business cards, and any other printed materials. Buyers can take such media and share it with their friends. You can even put it on the product page itself.

In your store

This works well if you own a store where people come to buy goods or services. They can scan the Facebook QR code to contact you when you’re away. This can boost your sales, customer support and engagement.

It’s possible to generate a QR code for Facebook in a few minutes. There are many tools available to use online. If you need to create a Facebook QR code quickly, follow these steps:

Go to QRStuff’s Facebook QR Code generator

Visit qrstuff.com and select Facebook as data type. Choose the option to link to a Facebook page. You can change settings like size and error correction and add your logo.

Download QR code

You’ll see a preview once you’re through. Click on the “Download” button to get the code you’ve generated. There are options to print it out or to send it via email.

Test your QR code

Once you have your Facebook QR code, test it to ensure it leads to the right page. If it does, you can start using it wherever you like.

A static QR code is one that cannot be edited once created. It’s free to create and you can have as many static QR codes for Facebook as you want. People can use them forever as they don’t expire.

The downside is that you won’t be able to change information on it. Tracking is also not possible if you create a static QR code for your business.

facebook review qr code

A dynamic QR code offers more options for any marketer. You can continuously edit the URL and target different campaigns.

You won’t have to reprint anything again. This option also allows you to track the scans and know the performance in terms of clicks, sales, among other things.

There is a subscription fee. But as long as you’re enjoying more benefits, having a dynamic QR code is worth it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to create a qr code for a facebook page.

Creating a Facebook QR code for your Facebook page is simple. You just need a QR code generator like QRStuff to get started.

You just need to go to QRStuff’s Facebook QR code generator page. Select your settings, upload a logo, and download the QR code. You can even print it or have it sent to your email address.

What are Facebook QR codes used for?

You can use Facebook QR codes to direct people to your page. They can like, comment, or share it with other Facebook users.

Another use of a Facebook QR code is to promote an upcoming event concerning your business. Buyers can also leave a review on your page by using the QR code. Given that it’s so convenient, more people will likely do so!

Where should you place a Facebook QR code?

Some of the best places to put Facebook QR codes are on printed materials. These are things like magazines and flyers that people can carry with them and promote your business further.

Another convenient place to have a QR code is your store’s location. It can be anywhere you want as long as buyers that are walking in can see and scan it.

What size should my Facebook QR code be?

QR codes can be put on a wide variety of media. Because of this, the size will vary. So, you have to find the best size for the advertising method you want to use.

The Facebook QR code has to be scannable. This means that you need to consider things like the distance between the QR code’s surface and the device in use.

As an example, a QR code on a poster can be larger than one on a business card. People are more likely to be standing farther from a poster than from a business card held in their hands. In other words, they’ll have their phones closer when scanning a QR code on a business card.

If you want to ensure that your QR code can fit various materials, it’s essential to save it in the right format. SVG usually works better for any size. You can also try using PNG as it’s clearer compared to JPG.

What to avoid when creating a Facebook QR code?

If your Facebook QR code has issues, people won’t be able to scan it successfully. You need to ensure that each of its aspects is right.

For instance, it shouldn’t be blurry. The QR code has to be of high resolution. That’s why you need to use the right format if you intend to enlarge the QR code.

If you want to be safe, go for the larger size when generating the QR code. This makes it easier for users to see it on any surface you place and easily scan it.

Another important thing is to regulate the content in the QR code. More content increases the pixel of a particular code. Only use text that is relevant and leave out “filler” content.

Also, you need to put your QR code in the right places. If that’s your store, for example, the QR code should be visible to anyone walking in or out.
