Description

This template provides a business plan outline with sample questions, tables, and a working table of contents. It was created for newer versions of Word and Excel (Office 2007 or later) so that you can easily change the fonts and color scheme and the file will be compatible with the mobile and web-based Word & Excel apps.

It is best to use Excel for financial statements, data tables and charts. So, we have provided a companion Excel workbook with these sample financial statements and other tables and graphs that you can copy and paste into your Word document.

The companion workbook combines many of the different spreadsheets you can find on Vertex42.com, but customized specifically for inclusion in a business plan.

Using the Business Plan Template

Editing headings and table of contents.

Word allows you to assign format Styles to text and paragraphs, and we've designed the template to use these Styles for defining headings, sub-headings, and figure captions.

If you want to add a new section so that the Table of Contents updates correctly, just add a new heading in the body of the document and assign it the Heading 1 or Heading 2 style.

To update the Table of Contents, go to the References tab and within the Table of Contents group of buttons, click on Update Table and then "Update entire table."

Copy/Paste From Excel to Word

For simple tables, you can use Copy/Paste (Ctrl+c / Ctrl+v) to copy a table from Excel to Word. This will typically paste the data as a formatted and editable table in Word, though none of the formulas will be functional within Word (and the table will not be linked to Excel). If you don't want the table to be editable in Word, you can "Paste as a Picture" using Paste Special or by choosing the "Picture" option when you right-click in Word to paste the table.

Important : When you paste a chart object into your business plan, make sure to "Paste as a Picture" because pasting the chart as an embedded object means that the entire spreadsheet becomes embedded in your Word document (even though what you see is only the chart).

If you want to insert a table into Word as a "Linked Object" so that when you edit Excel, the table in Word will update automatically, you may have a more difficult time preserving the formatting of the original. However, at the least the entire spreadsheet won't be embedded within your business plan Word document.

Le Plan Comptable : l’élément indispensable pour les étudiants de la comptabilité et les comptables

Nous étions tous attirés pendant nos cursus scolaires respectifs par un livre rouge au format rectangulaire différent des autres manuels scolaires.

En branche économique ou pas, notre curiosité nous a poussé à feuilleter ce livre pour découvrir quelques chiffres, nomenclatures et mots techniques soigneusement organisés. Nous avons tous compris, d’une manière ou d’une autre, que le plan comptable est un élément indispensable pour procéder à des opérations en comptabilité.

Le plan comptable est la norme de la comptabilité qui définit les règles d’évaluation et de tenue des comptes d’une entreprise. Il s'agit d'un document similaire à un simple tableau, qui permet de transcrire les écritures comptables d'une entreprise pour suivre les flux dans les comptes comme les dépenses et les ressources.

Jeunes, étudiants ou débutants en comptabilité ? Dans cet article, nous allons rappeler l’objectif de la comptabilité et décrypter les fonctions du plan comptable marocain en vue de l’utiliser dans le cadre du métier de comptable ou une autre fonction financière.

Quelques Généralités sur la comptabilité et le plan comptable :

Avant d’aborder le sujet du plan comptable, il convient ici de donner une définition concise de la notion de comptabilité que nous résumons ainsi : la discipline qui permet d’inventorier et de retranscrire toutes les recettes et les dépenses d’une entreprise.

Le rôle du plan comptable dans la comptabilité

Avoir un aperçu de la santé financière générale de l'entreprise repose sur un suivi rigoureux des flux d'argent entrants et sortants. Ce suivi n'est pas tout à fait évident et requiert le classement et l'enregistrement de toutes les opérations effectuées au cours de l'exercice comptable.

La comptabilité est faite de plusieurs comptes où on retranscrit les flux des activités économiques en générale et particulièrement les activités des entreprises. Le plan comptable définit alors les normes à appliquer pour la tenue de la comptabilité et l'évaluation que chaque entreprise doit respecter.

Le plan comptable permet donc de faciliter le classement et l’enregistrement  des opérations comptables tout en se conformant aux normes appliquées. Il est le document de référence pour le propriétaire d’entreprise, le comptable, l'étudiant… Et leur permet de classer les flux entrant et sortant de leurs activités (emplois et ressources)

Un plan comptable n’est pas rigide, il est évolutif en fonction des évolutions et mutations juridiques, sociales ou même technologiques. ( dans certains pays la réglementation des crypto monnaie et la blockchain a conduit à une mise à jour du plan comptable)

Au-delà des classements des opérations comptables, le plan comptable est important pour les investisseurs et les actionnaires qui n’ont peut-être pas la mainmise sur les opérations quotidiennes de l’entreprise. Il facilite l’établissement des documents clés : le bilan, le compte de résultat...il est donc un outil de gestion et d’aide à la décision.

Synthèse :   le plan comptable est une liste des comptes ordonnés et a pour but principal de nommer et catégoriser les comptes ainsi que de décrire des documents de synthèse en vue d'établir les comptes annuels.

Le plan comptable général marocain :

A u Maroc, le premier plan comptable a été élaboré en 1957, mais il convient de rappeler qu’avant cette date, nous utilisions le plan comptable français. Dès lors, les pratiques comptables ont connu plusieurs évolutions dont nous citons l’instauration de l’IS (impôt sur les sociétés) et l’IGR 1987 et la mise en place du CGNC « code général de normalisation comptable » en 1988.

Le plan comptable général marocain définit les normes comptables au Maroc, autrement dit, c’est une réglementation de normalisation marocaine. Il est alors applicable à toutes entreprises qui établissent un bilan de résultat annuel.

Décryptage du plan comptable général marocain PCGM

Le plan comptable général marocain  PCGM réunit le plan normal et le plan simplifié, il se caractérise par la liste des numéros de comptes que nous utilisons pour enregistrer les écritures comptables et il se compose de 10 classes. Pour le classement des comptes, le plan comptable utilise le mode décimal pour classer les comptes.

• Le premier chiffre identifie la masse;
• Le deuxième identifie la rubrique;
• Le troisième identifie le poste;
• Le quatrième identifie le compte principal.

 À retenir :

1 chiffres -- classe

2 chiffres  -- rubrique

3 chiffres -- poste

4 chiffres -- comptes

5 chiffres -- sous comptes

Classe 1 : comptes de financement permanent

Elle regroupe les capitaux propres qui sont l’ensemble des capitaux qui ne proviennent pas de l’emprunt qui apparaissent au passif du bilan en plus des capitaux appartenant à l'entreprise

Classe 2 : comptes d’actif immobilisé

Il s’agit de l'ensemble des biens et des droits susceptibles de rester durablement dans l’entreprise, il est divisé en : -Immobilisations en non-valeur ,Immobilisations incorporelles, mobilisations corporelles,Immobilisations financières

Classe 3 : comptes d’actif circulant (hors trésorerie)

Elle comprend les sommes dues à des tiers à l’instar des personnes extérieures de l’entreprise et qui ont des relations avec elle, créanciers de l’entreprise lorsque ces dettes sont nées à intervalle d'un an.

Classe 4 : comptes de passif circulant (hors trésorerie)

Le passif circulant hors trésorerie comprend les sommes dues à des tiers comme les personnes extérieures de l’entreprise ou les créanciers de l’entreprise. Ce sont des dettes du passif circulant hors trésorerie : dettes fournisseurs, fournisseurs effet à payer créditeurs divers…

Classe 5 : comptes de trésorerie

Elle comprend les disponibilités et les liquidités de l’entreprise ( avoir en banque, les espèces en caisse ).

Classe 6 : comptes de charges

Elle se compose de plusieurs catégories de charge : charge d’exploitation (achat de matières premières et marchandises, charge de personnel, charge financière, charge exceptionnelle

Classe 7 : comptes de produits

En contrepartie des biens et des services qu’elle fournit aux clients. L’entreprise reçoit ou va recevoir dans le futur des sommes d’argent, ces sommes d’argent sont enregistrées dans les comptes des produits.

Un produit est une source d’enrichissement.

Classe 8 : comptes de résultats finis

Les comptes relatifs à la classe 8 sont les comptes de synthèse établis à la fin de l’exercice comptable, le résultat est la différence entre les produits et les charges.

Classe 9 : comptes de produits et charges réfléchis

Les comptes relatifs à cette classe alimentent la comptabilité analytique, nous reprenons à ces comptes les éléments de la comptabilité analytique sans altérer les comptes.

Classe 0 : comptes spéciaux

Ils sont libellés en dirhams et sont ouverts aux noms des non-résidents au Maroc ( des personnes morales ou physiques )pour couvrir les besoins des activités temporaires. Ces comptes ne peuvent être débités qu’après l’ordre des titulaires.

Bilan : le bilan est un tableau qui expose les comptes annuels d’une entreprise, et reflète la situation patrimoniale de l’entreprise à un moment donné.

Emploi : l’emploi justifie l’utilisation des ressources, et figure sur le débit du bilan

Ressource : les ressources de l’entreprise sont la source des flux sortants, ses destinataires sont les emplois

Compte annuel : il est composé d’un bilan et d’un compte de résultat, les entreprises établissent le bilan, le résultat annuel et une annexe à la clôture de l’exercice comptable

Faire un bilan comptable avec Excel (exemple gratuit)

I l est important de bien comprendre la définition d'un bilan comptable . Le bilan est une sorte de "photographie" de ce qu'une entreprise possède (les actifs) et de ce qu'elle doit (les passifs) à un moment donné. C'est un état financier qui est réalisé, généralement, tous les ans, par un expert-comptable.  Quelle est la différence entre un bilan comptable et un bilan prévisionnel ?  Le bilan prévisionnel est comme un bilan comptable, sauf qu'il est ... "prévisionnel". C'est à dire que c'est un bilan, mais avec des prévisions dans le futur. Des hypothèses sont formulées lors de sa préparation. Comme le nom l'indique, il s'agit de prévisions hypothétiques. Alors que le bilan traditionnel est une photographie de l'actif et du passif de votre entreprise à un moment donné dans le passé, le bilan prévisionnel montre exactement la même situation, mais dans le futur. Quelle est la différence entre un bilan financier et un prévisionnel financier ?  Il est fréquent de constater que les termes "bilans financiers" et "prévisionnel financier" sont intervertis. En réalité, si on veut être exact, on parlera de "prévisionnel financier" pour désigner l'ensemble de tableaux qui sont, par exemple, fournis à un banquier lors d'une demande d'investissement. En réalité, le bilan comptable prévisionnel est l'un des tableaux  du prévisionnel financier. Vous l'avez compris, un prévisionnel financier regroupe d’autres tableaux, comme le compte de résultat prévisionnel, le budget prévisionnel, le plan de financement, l'analyse du besoin en capital, etc. Comment obtenir un exemple de bilan comptable fait avec Excel ?  Nous vous proposons, dans cet article, un exemplaire vierge de bilan comptable, réalisé avec Excel, à télécharger gratuitement. Comment construire un bilan comptable avec Excel ?

Il faut généralement suivre une démarche à trois temps pour réaliser un bilan comptable :  - déterminer et calculer les actifs de l'entreprise (colonne gauche du bilan comptable) - déterminer et calculer les passifs de l'entreprise (colonne droite du bilan comptable) - équilibrer les deux colonnes du bilan comptable Peut-on créer un bilan comptable à partir de "rien" ? La réponse est non. En effet, pour concevoir un bilan comptable, il est indispensable de recourir à d'autres tableaux financiers. En réalité, le bilan comptable est dérivé de deux autres tableaux, que l'on peut construire avec Excel également : le compte de résultat prévisionnel et le budget de trésorerie prévisionnel. Grâce à ces tableaux, il est possible de déterminer (notamment) le chiffre d'affaires de l'entreprise, ses différentes charges ainsi que les mouvements de la balance de trésorerie. Ce sont toutes des variables financières qui vous permettront, une fois réunies, de dégager et de renseigner les valeurs que vous allez inscrire dans votre bilan comptable Excel. 

Comment remplir les actifs et les passifs du bilan comptable avec Excel ? Pour obtenir ces montants, il faut d'abord construire deux autres tableaux financiers : le compte de résultat et le budget de trésorerie prévisionnel. Ces derniers feront apparaître des indicateurs financiers dont vous avez absolument besoin pour calculer les lignes de l'actif et du passif de votre bilan comptable Excel.

Que doit comporter la colonne “actifs” d’un bilan comptable Excel ?

Comment remplir la colonne actif d'un bilan comptable avec Excel ?  Les actifs sont des biens qui appartiennent à l'entreprise. Nous pouvons trouver différents types d'actifs : actifs corporels, incorporels, immobilisés ou circulante.  Quels sont des exemples d'actifs corporels ? Il y a les machines, le mobilier, le matériel informatique, les véhicules etc. Quels sont des exemples d'actifs incorporels ? Il y a les licences, les brevets, la technologie, les actifs financiers etc. Pourquoi parle-t-on d'actifs immobilisés et d'actifs circulants ? La règle pour les distinguer est assez simple. Si c'est un actif que vous comptez garder plus de 12 mois dans votre entreprise (comme une voiture), alors c'est un actif immobilisé. Si vous la conservez pendant une période plus courte (par exemple, des ingrédients pour un restaurant), alors il s'agit d'un actif circulant.

Que doit comporter la colonne “passifs” d’un bilan comptable Excel ?

Que mettre dans les "capitaux propres" d'un bilan comptable réalisé avec Excel ? Il s'agit des apports (en nature ou financiers) réalisés par les actionnaires lors de la création de l'entreprise (et par la suite), auxquels il faut ajouter les résultats comptables des années précédentes et de l'année en cours. Que mettre dans les "dettes" d'un bilan comptable réalisé avec Excel ? Dans les dettes financières, vous inscrirez toutes les créances dont se sert une entreprise, en plus du financement par capitaux propres, pour assurer le financement de son cycle d'exploitation et d'investissement. Quant aux des dettes fournisseurs, elles sont constituées des factures reçues par la société auprès de ses fournisseurs et pas encore réglées (au moment de l'élaboration du bilan comptable avec Excel). Les dettes fiscales et sociales d'un bilan comptable, se composent, elles, de l'ensemble des dettes envers l'état (les impôts, la TVA, les cotisations sociales etc).

Réussir son bilan comptable avec Excel, étape par étape

Pour concevoir un bilan, il faut commencer par créer un compte de résultat prévisionnel et un budget de trésorerie . Au final, on peut dire que les lignes du bilan comptable proviennent de ces deux tableaux. Nous avons déjà évoqué ce point précédemment. Avec Excel, il est plus aisé de concevoir un prévisionnel financier . En effet, grâce aux formules mathématiques qu'il contient, il laisse beaucoup plus de marche de manœuvre. Ce logiciel est parfois privilégié par rapport aux autres logiciels de comptabilité conventionnels, dans la mesure où il est beaucoup plus modulable. En revanche, il est très difficile de créer un prévisionnel financier dans Excel, à partir d'une feuille blanche.  L'élaboration des tableaux financiers, à partir de rien, comporte des centaines de formules de finances et de comptabilité, qui peuvent facilement être erronées. C'est pour cela qu'il plus judicieux d'utiliser un prévisionnel financier Excel, préalablement conçu, où vous aurez uniquement à renseigner des hypothèses.  Grâce à Excel, nous avons établi des prévisionnels financiers , propres à chaque secteur ou activité . Notre ambition ? Qu'un entrepreneur puisse obtenir facilement un prévisionnel financier (et donc un bilan comptable) correct, sans avoir à connaître les règles et formules de finance et de comptabilité.  Votre seul travail ? À vous de voir si vous souhaitez les conserver ou les modifier. La seule chose qu’il vous reste à faire est d'éventuellement ajouter, supprimer ou de modifier les montants pour que le prévisionnel financier colle parfaitement à votre projet. Comment savoir si vos hypothèses sont pertinentes et si votre prévisionnel est correct ?
